I guess we'll just have to add that to the list of "***** that the President believes despite mountains of objective evidence to the contrary"
Boy, that list is starting to get really long... - Dumbledorito, on 07/16/2008, -0/+7There needs to be more truth in employment stats. Our current unemployment figures don't count people who have fallen off of the welfare roles, and they've been messed with since before Clinton was in office, as are other so-called "key economic indicators."
I'm sure the numbers can be made to show the economy growing, in the same way that if you average the homeless guy on the corner's income with Bill Gates', the average income is enough to buy several city blocks. If we're growing, we're growing in the same way a feudal economy did in the dark ages. - inajeep, on 07/16/2008, -0/+6Yep, those failing banks, dropping dollar and high cost of oil are all good signs that we are all heading up the rosy path to prosperity. At least his buddies are and that's all that really matters, right?
- JeremyGrieves, on 07/16/2008, -0/+5The band kept playing on the Titanic too.
- jamez, on 07/16/2008, -0/+5Reads like an article from the Onion (the actual words Bush wills himself to say, that is)
- noupsell, on 07/16/2008, -0/+2"Bush said at a news conference, adding that the economy was "not growing the way it should." ||| so basically he's saying the economy has 'Elephant Man' disease -- and for those of you not familiar with the elephant man see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Merrick
- cmakvaca, on 07/16/2008, -0/+3Given Bush's propensity for lying to the public, I find myself wondering if he is, in fact, an economist.
- dubhousing, on 07/16/2008, -0/+3You're not an economist, but you're comfortable making laughable claims about the economy? Why don't you add:
"I'm not a historian, but the depression was freaking awesome."
"I'm not a linguist, but English was invented by druids."
"I'm not a scientist, but men used to ride dinosaurs as pets." - WordsnCollision, on 07/16/2008, -0/+3Looking down from Canada, i'm just shaking my head... what were you guys thinking? And twice??
- badtiki, on 07/17/2008, -0/+1umm...we're thinking Bush is a piece of *****, and we are truly sorry for letting him walk away stealing the election...that was thinking, if we say it out loud the people in the black coats come and take us away....now ill go back to my happy place until this blows over, or he blows us up - either way, it will be over soon
- drgkstep, on 07/17/2008, -0/+2OMFG WTF!!!!!!!! A "good law"? a ***** GOOD LAW?!!? WHAT THE ***** DOES THAT MEAN YOU ***** MONGOLOID?!?!?!?
