- lazyink, on 11/14/2007, -5/+234Fox now reporting that al Qaeda supplied him with the rapid ignition materials.
- fxzoo, on 11/14/2007, -10/+174Wait a second, I thought it as al Qaeda all along!
- MikeonTV, on 11/14/2007, -3/+161No guys it was a kid named Albert Kayda
- Frei, on 11/14/2007, -6/+133How long did they torture him before he cracked?
- CircusNinja, on 11/14/2007, -6/+117WHAT?! Not al Qaeda?! FOX news had it wrong?!
Inconceivable! - Liam76, on 11/11/2007, -5/+77great. Al Queda is recruiting kids now?!?!
- andywebb95, on 11/03/2007, -2/+73Someones grounded today.
- Calann, on 11/02/2007, -9/+77Fox News kept suggesting that it was al Qaeda setting the fires. Should this boy be taken to Guantanamo and waterboarded till he talks?
- inactive, on 11/11/2007, -2/+44Better start rounding up all the children and putting them in camps.
- Fremen93, on 11/02/2007, -6/+44The rest of the news media should do a story on how Fox got it wrong.
- zjordan04, on 11/01/2007, -0/+33For their own safety.
- malkir, on 11/02/2007, -4/+36Obviously he's a terrorist.
- Frei, on 11/02/2007, -3/+34I find it hard to believe that a hardened terrorist such as this boy would simply confess without electrified nipple clamps and water-boarding.
- inactive, on 11/03/2007, -2/+31i wonder if the terrorists have talent scouts
- inactive, on 11/05/2007, -1/+29Youngster? Seriously? When did my grampa start writing for reuters?
- Scira, on 11/01/2007, -1/+25Sadly i know somewhere in America there is actually a kid named that.
- wes00mertes, on 11/02/2007, -4/+28Fox News: "The Terrorist has been caught! Mission Accomplished."
- omegaredIX, on 11/01/2007, -1/+23man this brings back memories.
- kinerry, on 11/11/2007, -8/+29But Fox News told me it was Al Qaeda...
- turbojugend23, on 11/04/2007, -4/+23I don't think CNN ever claimed that global warming STARTED the fires. They did report that global warming is creating conditions that promote larger and more frequent fires that are more difficult to fight. Regardless of your opinion on whether g.w. is man made or natural, the point they made is backed by science. Read and learn before inserting your foot in your mouth nest time...
http://www.usatoday.com/weather/news/2003-11-12-wa ... - capiCrimm, on 11/02/2007, -4/+23***** waterboarding! I support torture, we need this kid to talk NOW!
- AndrewDB, on 01/10/2008, -2/+20You just don't know he's an under-cover op for Al Qaeda.
- boxybrzown, on 11/01/2007, -0/+18FTA: "The Buckweed fire was one of about two-dozen conflagrations that ravaged southern California last week"
So, he started 1/24th of the fire? Doesn't sound like he did it all. - UtopiaInTheSky, on 11/13/2007, -1/+17BREAKING: Al Qaeda now recruiting little American boys.
- inactive, on 11/01/2007, -7/+23Shouldn't this kid be sent to juve or something? A public paddling at least?
- 4degrees, on 11/03/2007, -0/+16and they thought that constantly sitting inside playing video games was a bad thing...
- flyjar, on 11/01/2007, -0/+15I'd hate to be one of his parents.
- inactive, on 11/01/2007, -2/+16let me guess, the CA wildfires were an inside job?
- Brianguy2000, on 11/01/2007, -0/+14Looks like he's gonna get in to the construction business... he's got quite a few houses to rebuild.
- taintedzodiac, on 11/01/2007, -1/+13Yeah, to find out that some other person had been raising your kid all these years? That would suck!
- jolt459, on 11/03/2007, -3/+15I blame violent video games for teaching this kid how to light a match!
- vanscott, on 11/04/2007, -0/+12That is effed. You needed to be burned by your parents to learn that playing with fire is a bad idea?
- RalphDibny, on 11/01/2007, -3/+15I am not fully convinced...i mean "playing with matches" how cliche is that? Its fairly well documented that children's testimonys can be inaccurate, especially if investigators asked biased questions (i.e. "Were you playing with matches?"). Children tend to want to please investigators and frankly want o be left alone so they answer accordingly. Not saying this HAS to be the case here but i thought it was worth mentioning.
- BoneheadFarker, on 11/01/2007, -2/+13No they're not. They are simply part of an alternative lifestyle...
- toadyus, on 11/02/2007, -4/+14Did he confess before or after being water boarded?
- brundlefly76, on 11/04/2007, -3/+13I feel really bad for this kid - every boy alive has played with matches at one time or another - this kid probably just drew the short straw on the repercussions of that.
- banq59, on 11/01/2007, -1/+10Jesus don't these kids have Smokey the Bear anymore?
- jackrabbitat, on 11/02/2007, -4/+13Oh no - it's worse than we all thought! Al Qaeda has recruited our nation's children!! AHHHHHH! .... tune into Fox for further developments....be afraid, be afraid, love Bush, 9/11, 9/11, 9/11, more after these messages ...
- novask, on 11/01/2007, -1/+9http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=stor ...
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 11/02/2007, -2/+9Best Digg comment of the day. It would be even more rewarding if FOX News actually reported that.
- inactive, on 11/01/2007, -2/+9I see what you did there....
- brucemuir, on 11/03/2007, -6/+13That's weird. Dwight told me that "Ryan started the fire! It was always burning since the world was turning!"
- ZenMojo, on 11/02/2007, -0/+6Al-Qaeda recruits them younger and younger. So insidious.
- jackrabbitat, on 11/02/2007, -2/+8Haha. Well obviously, unless you hate America and our troops, you must believe that this kid should be "rendered" to Syria and have his teeth pulled out with pliers and punched in the face until he admits to being an Islamic terrorist. When can we expect a news conference in which Bush declares that another deadly plot has been disrupted?
- cl0r0x70, on 11/01/2007, -4/+10Interesting that your comment implies that waterboarding is not torture.
- kingvik, on 11/01/2007, -0/+6Colbert has always said that he doesn't like children, they're just trying to replace us.
- DreKor, on 11/13/2007, -3/+9Al Qaeda really sucks as a terrorist organization if they can't pull something like this off. Why are we supposed to be scared of them?
- akatherder, on 11/01/2007, -1/+7Smokey the Bear is going to eat his face and steal his shirt to finally complete his outfit.
