My neighbor is in construction and he can't find work because of all the Mexicans doing it for peanuts. I have to believe a lot of people would find it much easier to find jobs without all the illegals stealing them.

My competitors were under cutting my bids because they used illegal alien labor and were not paying workman's compensation for their laborers. My problem was, I refuse to hire illegals. It's unethical and the fines can be the ruination of a small business.

The rule of law is also essential. The perversion of law that has become the illegal immigrant problem begins the downward spiral of society. Is it any wonder our prisons are full? If one law can be violated why not all laws?

Economy changes wrought by the influx of INVADERS was not a natural Free Market happening. Unpatriotic, anti-USA captains of industry demanded comparatively slave-wage laborers, and the criminal godvernment delivered by not enforcing US borders and immigration laws. Accomodating so many INVADERS artificially drove up demand, and therefore prices, for limited resources. This artificial inflation created a non-equilibrium. The USA must regain equilibrium.
We breakeven on the figures about handout giveaways in the source article for this Digg. Those figures are backed up by links to sources for gov't accountability or watchdog organizations. If the giveaways stop, the money stays in "the system" and will still go to other infrastructure and expenses. But not all sources focus on public sector money.
So, does lost private sector money cause the "great depression"? Look at food. 20 million (really, it's 36+ million) mouths to feed means lots of extra food is needed. Food Stamps or cash, that's lots of money flowing into the food products sector. What happens if it goes away? Demand decreases. Prices decrease accordingly. Revenues fall. Is this a depression? Not necessarily. What happens to over-production? Uh, exports! Like before the INVASION. Finding ways to breakeven on supply = demand.
Housing is higher priced now because keeping a roof over the heads of so many INVADERS means increased demand, so rents (housing costs rise). But, 8-12 INVADERS live in a place where 2-4 born-in-the-USA Americans live. A house with a born-in-the-USA family of 6-8 can have nextdoor a house inhabited by 25 INVADERS who occupy around the clock and in shifts, per work schedules of the employed INVADERS.
If they "go home" will there be a glut of unrented houses? That varies market by market depending on population density of INVADERS. Some rental prices will fall. Some sales prices too, due to lower demand. They will return to affordability from the surrealistic world of price gouging. There won't be 8 breadwinners pooling comparatively near-slave labor wages to pay exorbitant prices to gougers on the housing supply side. It could cause dips in the cash flowing though the housing market. But it will force competitiveness, housing restored to livability, neighborhood values appreciating again as residential dumps are reclaimed from vacating swarms who live barrio lifestyles. Displaced US workers can earn a living wage and afford reasonably-priced housing. The worst unrestorable housing will drop off the market. It will all level out in the end.
On the job market, cheap INVADER labor will be replaced by born-in-the-USA workers who will cost more for the employers, who've been pocketing (along with "shareholders" in publicly held companies) the savings for the costs of doing business by hiring near-slave wage labor. One of three things will happen. These businesses will 1) pass all of the higher labor costs onto their customers (most likely in this dishonest, greedy world), 2) pass on a portion of the higher labor costs, or 3) return to the business ethic of cost of materials & labor plus a fair profit. Supposedly #3 is where business was the federal mafia criminal godvernment imported en masse slave labor. Now that business captains and/or shareholders are addicted to super profits due to labor cost savings, it's doubtful they'll revert back to mere normal profits.
What will happen? They'll heap more work per worker on the born-in-the-USA talent they hire. They have only so much money for labor. They'll force it to spread around to get the same amount of work done (or as near it as possible) as they did by hiring all the cheap imported labor they craved. They'll do what shareholders clamor for. If it's super profits, cost rise and are passed onto consumers as price hikes. Demand will fall where consumers are price sensitive. Prices only have so much elasticity regarding demand. Another equilibrium will be reached.
You can step right down the line doing this. The false argument is that INVADERS picked harvests. There is no way to replace that. There are. The most pro-USA and best business-minded growers invested in technology to do their harvesting. They often innovated it.

Finances aside, how many murders, rapes, and kids hooked on drugs would not have occurred if those 20MM illegals were gone. How do YOU quantify the value of a human life? Hospital emergency rooms are plugged with illegals having no Health care provision. Jobs would open up for our young people and those who have been forced out by cheap labor. Unscrupulous business people would have to figure a new angle to get rich on the back of poor people. As was the case of 50 years ago, young people could go back to work in the fields and do the work best suited for them to learn a work ethic. Slum lords will have to clean up their filthy dump sites. Motel rooms may actually become CLEAN again. The trucking industry as well as many others could return to a living financial condition. Farmers will actually have to get out of the pickup. Americans will become familiar with reality for a change and taxes should go down as welfare agencies will have to lay off blocks of case workers for a lack of people to distribute your tax money to. Let's try it for a a while.
