    Apart from the fact that delivery was almost 10 years late, and way over budget, the decision to purchase also effectively destroyed the TSR.2 program and the british aviation industry along with it !

    • dtele, on 04/20/2008, -0/+3Considering we already fly about 100 F-111 and F-18s, there are enough pilots for conversion training... and Im sure there are many young cadets eager to get their hands on F-35 when they graduate.
