But this is more than just about a very deadly blast. A nuclear strike on our country would likely usher in an era of absolute lock-down. Former East Germany would seem like one of them picturesque towns found on post cards compared to what the U.S. would turn into. - Albionshores, on 01/13/2008, -2/+3Very powerful speech. The nuclear genie is a valid argument. It is essentially the same argument as for why torture cannot, and must not, ever be used or justified.
If you use it, then in time it will be used against you.
If we become apathetical to our own use of WMDs we lose all our moral bargaining chips and buy into a much bigger game.
