This is the Fitna film by Geert Wilders. He's the Dutch writer who is now
under Netherlands protection from the Islamists.
This is the film that has the EU and the Muslim world in an uproar.
Most websites have removed it, including YouTube. All were intimidated by
Muslim threats of violence.
Google still has it posted as of today, but will probably shut it down
soon. It is about 16 minutes long but well worth the time.
This is our enemy ..... we better get real serious NOW.

- inactive, on 08/18/2008, -2/+12There is no voice by Imans, Mullahs and high up Muslim Clerics because they are afraid or and they support the Terror directed at Westerners or Free People every where who are not Muslim. Obama is just a stepping stone to them he is as close as a Muslim they can get right now, I cant imagine anyone would vote into power a blanted panderer to our enemies, and so mixed up on facts and issues like Obama. The Democats are so stupid to allow the Obama be part of the America
- inboxnews, on 08/18/2008, -2/+11Thanks for the post. Hadn't seen this before, only heard about it. Must see!
- thoughtcrime, on 08/19/2008, -1/+7Great video, incredibly well done. To Paulginz, I suggest you read "The Truth about Muhammed" by Robert Spencer. No, it's not a right-wing "hit piece." Spencer goes through the Koran in a scholarly-like fashion to illustrate facts that lead to an inescapable conclusion. Religion of Peace, it ain't.
- inactive, on 08/18/2008, -9/+15These are the same people who want to see a weak president elected. One who will abandon the war on terror. One raised as a Muslim. One like Obama.
- thoughtcrime, on 08/19/2008, -0/+4They're either too timid, or they don't exist.
- Paulginz, on 08/18/2008, -8/+12Ok, the film is decent, but has some major faults for a documentary:
1) Generalisations: Not all muslims are jihadists, just as not all american christians are creationist fundamentalists. This documentary tries to make people believe that violence and hatred are inherrent to the islamic religion.
2) Misrepresentation: The Quran specifically states that christians and jews (the people of the book) should be respected and can teach wisdom. It's nice to point a finger to the dangerous indoctrination of youth in certain countries, but correcting an erroneous statement would have been a nice cherry on the cake.
3) Propaganda: When you make a story, it's journalistic etiquette to ask both sides for their version. This is a compilation of the most hateful snippets of muslim preacher speeches and protest coverage that the author could find. As for the hateful Quran verses, if that's the best he could find, I'm not impressed when comparing to other supposedly peaceful and loving religious texts.
4) Hyocrisy: Apart from the fact that Moses's genocide of the Midianites from the bible is even more gruesom than Muhammed's calls to arms, I think that condemning the desire of spreading their faith into the world is hypocritical. Most ideologies in the world seek the same thing, and only political correctness keeps people from affirming it so bluntly (The US (apparently) takes on the duty to spread capitalism, democracy and freedom to the world. Christianity calls for it's followers to convert as many infidels as possible, etc.)
5) Criticism of perfectly legitimate activities:
- Many western investors seek ecologically-friendly funds or "Good human rights track record" funds, why shouldn't a free market provide Hallal funds to cater for the superstitions of a sizeable part of the population? The author considers this "islamisation" and calls for the viewer to stop it.
Also, the message brought by the graphs about the increase in the netherland/european muslim population with dawnting background and music scare me. Is the author somehow suggesting that we should do something about it? Mass expatriation based on religion/race maybe? I feel that this video limits itself where it could have given food for thought to propagandise things instead and, unfortunately, will probably just fuel indiscriminate hatred and violence against all muslims (including moderates and secularists).
The title given by the submitter, I think, plainly corraborates my prediction (Clearly he believes that there should be religion/race-based immigration procedures).
That said, I also must admit that political correctness has gone way too far when dealing with hate-spreading extremists (of all religions). At least this video attacks their views without hiding behing moral relativism. So, worth seeing notwithstanding the propagandisation. - thoughtcrime, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3Yes, I have seen a couple of very vocal Muslim critics of islamofacism (both women). They receive regular death threats, and in at least one case, an attempt on the woman's life. Point well taken. It's tough for any lone voice of reason to stand against the tides.
- inactive, on 08/19/2008, -0/+3If either alternative is true, that is bad. I'm sure there are some out there.
- Divals, on 08/19/2008, -2/+5Lol wut? Obama wasn't raised as a Muslim. Get a clue, dude.
- LadyAmerica, on 08/24/2008, -0/+2Yup, one hand here, one foot there,
head here, torso there,
etc, etc - MisterWonderful, on 08/19/2008, -0/+2A very rationale response. Prepare to be dugg down to oblivion.
- Divals, on 08/19/2008, -1/+3I have no desire to outlaw Christianity, and I doubt if any but the most radical of liberals do either. There's nothing wrong with it in itself, it's when a religion tries to take over the government that problems happen. I'd be just as upset if radical pagans tried to take over the government, and I'm pagan. It's not about being anti-Christian... it's about being anti-theocracy.
- inactive, on 08/19/2008, -2/+3"Rest in pieces."
- Divals, on 08/19/2008, -2/+3Fight fire with fire, huh? Radical Islam wouldn't be an issue because without liberals all non-Christian religions would be outlawed. Sounds like just what America needs.
- BillE3, on 08/19/2008, -2/+3Better, more accurate.
- Navigator7, on 08/19/2008, -6/+7Radical Islam would be a non issue with a strong America.
The rise of liberalism in America gives birth to the evil hateful dogs. - inactive, on 08/21/2008, -0/+1>>1) Generalisations: Not all muslims are jihadists >2) Misrepresentation: The Quran specifically states that christians and jews (the people of the book) should be respected and can teach wisdom.>3) Propaganda:>4) Hyocrisy:>5) Criticism of perfectly legitimate activities:

- Nannybell, on 08/22/2008, -1/+2Criticism does not equal hate. Calling attention to the truth about people and ideas does not equal hate. Hate is more like when you beat the daylights out of someone. Your brand of political correctness lacks common sense and will get us all killed and/or put under the domination of a tyrant. And personally, I am sick and tired of the word *hate* being flung around to describe anything liberals disagree with.
- inactive, on 08/19/2008, -5/+5And without conservatives, the Christian faith would be outlawed. Checks & Balances, it is.
- inactive, on 08/19/2008, -3/+3directing your hate towards an entire group of people is also a way of infuriating that group of people, and making them hate you even more. The bible has pretty bad stuff in it too, but you don't see random people going around stoning others, do you? I sure haven't, not in North America, at least.
- Navigator7, on 08/19/2008, -7/+5@ Divas,
No, radical Islam doesn't stand a chance in the face of a strong America. An America infected with Liberalism, on the other hand, is an inspiration to radical Islam.
