  • LEL2007, on 02/22/2008, -0/+2No license in 2006, using an alias name, resides in Albert Lea MN with major meat packing plant raided twice last year for illegal immigrant workers, and MN officials are very shy in talking about this matter with Minneapolis being a sanctuary city (and the gov claims to be republican).

    If found driving irresponsibility Vs. "accident" is determined, it's life in prison regardless.

  • momofour, on 02/22/2008, -0/+1I hate to sound skeptical--but LEL is making great points here...it's not like it's a huge leap to assume that she's illegal. If this woman is a U.S. citizen, born or naturalized, then I apologize. This is not about a hispanic person, so please don't read into this that my comments are racist. I must disagree with work1 --now that she's killed 5 people, she should NOT be deported...but should be locked up here until she can be sentenced to death. Her blatant disregard for U.S. law--licensing laws, even if she isn't illegal, and life by continuing to drive without license after already being arrested once. The gov't is partially to blame for these deaths b/c they allowed her back on the streets (literally and figuratively). Do the families have justification for a class action suit against the gov't? I'm not a huge supporter of lawsuits, but sometimes it's the only thing that will get the gov't's attention.
  • work1, on 02/22/2008, -0/+0So, when are people going to realize that their passive nature with this illegal immigration problem causes more problems than that of breaking the initial immigration law? If it turns out that she, is using an alias, which she may have done previously, and is not legally here, what then? There needs to be consequences that we as law abiding citizens need to enforce, legally. She, as well as any family members, need to pack it up, and move back south of the border.
