Unsung heroes of the FBI

washingtontimes.com — No list of unsung heroes would be complete without naming those who gave their lives in the line of duty. Thirty-five FBI agents have been killed on the job during a confrontation with an adversary since the bureau was formed 100 years ago. The agents, known at the bureau as "service martyrs," are listed on a permanent plaque at FBI Headquarters. .
