- legendxx, on 10/12/2008, -0/+411/3 of the population is on the terror watch list?
- algaeturd, on 10/11/2008, -18/+56Unfortunately, 100 million Americans REMAIN on the terror watch list. What kind of sense does THAT make?
- Paulorific, on 10/12/2008, -5/+39Meanwhile, Cuba is still in it. A tiny little tropical tourist destination for the rest of the world is on the terror list for the United States.
- Berkana, on 10/12/2008, -6/+36We've been funding violent ethnic minority separatist groups in Iran in an attempt to destabilize Iran. We have a log in our own eye to pull before we go about calling others "state sponsors of terrorism."

This is hypocrisy of the highest order. We supported the Taliban when they were terrorizing the Soviets. If we don't learn from history, (which we never seem to do anyhow) we'll end up reaping what we sowed again. (Just like how we armed and supported Saddam Hussein when he invaded Iran in the Iran-Iraq war.) - tommyny04, on 10/12/2008, -2/+29Wow ... i feel a lot safer already
- Berkana, on 10/12/2008, -0/+24I think the number is more like 1 million, but I agree with your sentiment. The list is useless for watching terror, and is only useful to intimidate the dissenters who get put on the list.
- GarrettGrimsley, on 10/12/2008, -0/+19Knowledge of this list automatically puts you on it. *****
- john2kx, on 10/12/2008, -4/+22America, ***** YEAH.
- cdigioia, on 10/12/2008, -2/+17Except the ones in FEMA are free to leave...which is a HUGE ***** difference.
Maybe you don't like FEMA, maybe you hate the US government (fair enough), but for god's sake, don't compare voluntary FEMA rescue camps with the forced concentration camps that are currently in N. Korea, were in the Soviet Unon, and were in Nazi Germany. That's beyond disrespectful to the survivors and descendants of survivors.
You know what voluntary means? It means you wouldn't be there if you thought you had a better option. You know what true concentraion camps are? FORCED containment. The difference is ***** huge. - inactive, on 10/12/2008, -1/+14But...but...it's SOCIALIST!
- patpl22391, on 10/12/2008, -3/+15What? FEMA has concentration camps? Maybe you should get some fresh air.
- Shogi, on 10/12/2008, -4/+16They aren't terrorists, no sir.
They're just run by a bunch of dirtbags. - inactive, on 10/12/2008, -5/+17I not ronrey...I not ronrey anymore.
- digitronix, on 10/12/2008, -9/+20Great, because I've never been scared of a North Korean in my life. Nor have I ever been scared of any Iraqi, Iranian, Afghani, or Russian...
The US government is the biggest pussy on the planet. - weech, on 10/12/2008, -0/+9Nice...back in business!
- Damian91, on 10/12/2008, -0/+8If they keep up the good behavior they MIGHT be put back on the Christmas card list.
- ironhide, on 10/12/2008, -0/+8They can't be terrorists - they don't have any oil.
- brentfrye, on 10/12/2008, -1/+9Exaggerate much? FEMA camps are for people who lost their homes, even if the conditions are not that great they are far from concentration camps.
- Sil369, on 10/12/2008, -1/+8I hereby declare the Moon to be added to this terror list.
- Vigacmoe, on 10/12/2008, -1/+8America please put your own name on the list, thanks.
- CanadaKyle, on 10/12/2008, -3/+10Japan objects to the US taking them off their terror list: http://digg.com/world_news/Japan_objects_to_US_Nor ...
- savagesteve13, on 10/12/2008, -0/+6The taliban was formed from the pashtun muhahaddein, pakistani ISI, pakistani SMS. The USA supported 2 of the worst most anti-soviet (and anti-american) islamic warlords in the country, trained them in terrorism, bomb making, guerilla attacks, and later supplied advanced shoulder fired missiles (MANPADS). We sowed the seeds of civil war by doing this, which resulted in the formation of the Taliban. The Osama Bin Laden and Ayman Al-Zawahiri connection came later with the 500,000 coalition troops on holy soil (Saudi Arabia). The taliban later accepted Bin Laden's movement to help shore up their foothold in afghanistan.
- savagesteve13, on 10/12/2008, -1/+7First Bush pardons the Butcher of Lockerbie (Khadaffi), now Kim Jong Il, the leader of the only country left on the planet that has death camps for its own citizens.
- frank2, on 10/12/2008, -1/+7Connection between North Korean and terrorism:
http://www.slate.com/?id=2082385
And they are not a communist country, they are totalitarian dictatorship ruled by a very very bad person. - cdigioia, on 10/12/2008, -4/+10That's fine. I'm with Obama - I think dialogue is a good thing with enemy states. Especially N. Korea, as really, they're a bit pathetic when it comes down to it as far as threats go.
- gcnaddict, on 10/12/2008, -5/+10It's all politics... and probably a result of intimidation from the country to which we're currently indebted.
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -2/+7I think the tinfoil from this guys' hat is starting to leech into his brain...
- vsaint, on 10/12/2008, -1/+6Simple solution, let's all get on the terror watch list.
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -2/+7It's common within the Alex Jones fan base to believe FEMA has concentration camps. These schizos also think rainbows are mysterious chemicals oozing out of your ground, or that the military is spraying chemtrails in the sky to control our mind. So it's hard to take the truthers seriously.
- uswarrior1, on 10/12/2008, -1/+6America is the best country ever, make fun of us and we will go over there and kill everyone in your country and blame it on something completely different.
call us heros and we send you billions in tax dollars. - GarrettGrimsley, on 10/12/2008, -2/+7They sells us trillions of dollars worth of StarCraft strats.
- Murdats, on 10/12/2008, -0/+5no he is calling them a pussy for having put them on there in the first place.
america is like a bully, where if you fight back once, they run off crying, then come back the next day and shoot you in the face with a double barrel shotgun for having retaliated to your daily raping. - abajaj2280, on 10/12/2008, -1/+5*****, i'm on the terror watch list?!
- rottencod, on 10/12/2008, -0/+4What? Bush engaged in outright negotiations and dialog with North Korea? Doesn't that make him a weak, terrorist-loving liberal appeaser bent on surrender to America's enemies?
- gcnaddict, on 10/12/2008, -0/+4"you obviously dont know much about communism as practiced in china and north korea"
What's with the bashing? Damn.
China does care. Why? If there are less communist world governments, it would be pressured into becoming less communist than it currently is (which is to say, not much). Strength in numbers. - Punjabdasher, on 10/12/2008, -1/+5forgive me if i'm wrong.. but i think the emphasis should have been on americans not remain...
- gospe1337, on 10/12/2008, -0/+4My god, as a Korean I think I'm more offended by that noise.
- cdigioia, on 10/12/2008, -0/+4Oh man I agree with your premise, but...Americans actually CAN go to N. Korea.
I went myself in March to Kaesong, N. Korea without a VISA. With a VISA (and a lot of money), Americans can often take more expansive trips to N. Korea. - legendxx, on 10/12/2008, -2/+5At least give him credit for trying to bash America.. everyone's doing it these days.
- waspbr, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3I keep wondering if the reason why the US is so passive towards NK isn't an anti-communist strategy itself. I mean keeping a corrupt and poor (F***ed up) authoritarian state like NK would be a great way to discourage communism, socialism or left-leaning tendencies.
- mebethekoko, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3So if I get a nuke, they'll let me get off of the list?
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3Says they don't associate with Hezbollah or AlQuaeda.
Selling weapons technology to countries that support terrorism... well, we did the same to Iran, and we started AlQuaeda ourselves to terrorize the Soviets, so... - omegared, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3no joke America should probably be on that list. Funding groups in Cuba and rewarding individuals that have killed civilians. Iran contra anyone? Providing chemical weapons for Saddam to use? Invading Iraq illegally. American governments Ignoring international law, the UN and than expecting other countries to follow international law and the UN. But when America does it they claim it is in their interests, or that was a past mistake and it will never happen again. Thank god the American government looks after the terrorist watch list.
- Spoomeister, on 10/12/2008, -1/+4Good! Maybe the North Koreans can buy some of our bad mortgages now.
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -3/+6Thats why its so *****.
- ReeferChiefer42, on 10/12/2008, -3/+6MATT DAMON
- inactive, on 10/12/2008, -5/+8North Korea definitely deserves to be taken off this list. We have budged none at all, and they have given in to demand after demand of ours. Its only so far you can make a country give in before they finally say "***** it" and actually do become state sponsors of terror.
What is interesting to me is that there was never a connection made between North Korea and any terrorist organization, it was just that we didn't like them because they are poor and communist, and they don't like us. Technically they are still at war with us, because all we signed at the "end" of the Korean war was an armistice, so them seeing us as their enemy is only natural. - rxbudian, on 10/12/2008, -0/+3That's because North Korea has nuclear weapons to bargain to get itself off the terror list. the 100 million americans couldn't afford to build one.
- 55mph, on 10/12/2008, -1/+3is Kim Jong II still alive? rumors of his demise have circulated.
- geoffg, on 10/12/2008, -0/+2That's some real talk right there "tinkited!"
