Oh yeah, I'm sure these verdicts will be legit. - Ymeg, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1You *****.
Of course driving a a taxi driver does not make you a terrorist, but that is not what he is charged for.
Also, just because our administration does illegal things, it does not mean that he is innocent. - WiseWeasel, on 08/06/2008, -0/+1This linked story (and thus the summary as well) is incorrect. The charges he was acquitted of were "conspiracy to commit terrorism", not "providing material support for terrorism".

- inactive, on 08/06/2008, -3/+2So driving a car makes you guilty of terrorism, but invading a country that was no threat to you and convincing your citizens with LIES about weapons of mass destruction is ok.
Driving a car makes you a terrorist, but murdering thousands of innocent Iraqis is ok.
Driving a car makes you a terrorist, but spying on your own country and lying about it is ok.
Driving a car makes you a terrorist, but outing covert agents is ok.
Driving a car makes you a terrorist, but indefinitely holding innocent people in prison is ok.
Yeah, that sounds about right for the ever so ethical Bush regime.
