'Nuff said. - 2trkpony, on 11/18/2007, -8/+283FEMA eclipses the United States Constitution into oblivion, rendering it null & void.
Some people have referred to FEMA as the "secret government" of the United States. It is not an elected body, it does not involve itself in public disclosures, and it even has a quasi-secret budget in the billions of dollars. This government organization has more power than the President of the United States or the Congress, it has the power to suspend laws, move entire populations, arrest and detain citizens without a warrant and hold them without trial, it can seize property, food supplies, transportation systems, and can suspend the U.S. Constitution.
Is it any wonder why the U.S. government considers America's Constitution "terrorist literature".
Here are just a few Executive Orders associated with FEMA that would suspend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
These Executive Orders have been on record for nearly 30 years and could be enacted by the stroke of a Presidential pen:
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 10990
allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 10995
allows the government to seize and control the communication media.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 10997
allows the government to take over all electrical power, gas, petroleum, fuels and minerals.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 10998
allows the government to take over all food resources and farms.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 11000
allows the government to mobilize civilians into work brigades under government supervision.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 11001
allows the government to take over all health, education and welfare functions.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 11002
designates the Postmaster General to operate a national registration of all persons.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 11003
allows the government to take over all airports and aircraft, including commercial aircraft.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 11004
allows the Housing and Finance Authority to relocate communities, build new housing with public funds,
designate areas to be abandoned, and establish new locations for populations.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 11005
allows the government to take over railroads, inland waterways and public storage facilities.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 11051
specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders
into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 11310
grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute
industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and
correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 11049
assigns emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative
Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.
* EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921
allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms
of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial
institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by
the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months.
Don't forget, we're fighting for democracy & freedom in IRAQ..."Operation Iraqi Liberation".
George Bush tells us we were attacked on 9-11 by "terrorists who don't like freedom"..
"The terrorists are enemies of freedom" "They attacked us because they don't like our freedoms"
Sure...
Is that revealing or what??

- 2trkpony, on 11/18/2007, -6/+198Good clip.. That's from the documentary One Nation Under Siege.
"The U.S. Government now officially considers people who "make numerous references to the Constitution" to be "potential terrorists"
Funny, the terrorist criminal war mongering, lying government waste "officially considering" it's taxpaying, war funding citizen constituency
to be 'potential terrorists" for quoting the truly *official* UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION.
If that doesn't give you a clue what's going down, nothing will. America has been sold down the river on the Swift-Boat to oblivion.
Most pathetic thing of all is when human beings with a brain allow guileful pundits to define the world around them instead of critically
thinking for themselves to discover truth. Americas predicament is way past the mind-numbing ***** of this "left vs right" FARCE,
America is under a**domestic fascist assault***

Shame these great leaders ideas are considered radical in the modern US. Shut up and sing or just go shopping.
- leexy, on 11/18/2007, -1/+71"Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don't want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."

- dsanonline, on 11/18/2007, -4/+36I have said it once and I'll say it yet again. This country is on the brink of a very bloody civil war. I know that I will never allow my rights to be stripped away from me. I'm probably already labeled as a terrorist by our Government because I am highly critical of them and have admitted on more than one occasion that I believe certain Government officials should be dragged out of their cozy offices and homes and charged with treason (which by the way, is punishable by the death penalty). Our Government is illegal and illegitimate. I'm just waiting to see what will be the final spark.
Mark my words and mark them well. Five years. Ten at the very most. This country will be in a full blown civil war. - jeffiek, on 11/18/2007, -3/+35They won't. Politicians are just like con men. Once the scam is exposed, they change it, add a few twists, give it a new look. The politicians goal is power, not death. Killing is just a tool, and not a very good one at that. Now that that one has been exposed, it won't be repeated.
Scams don't work if people can recognize them. Be on guard for the NEW versions. - DigitAl56K, on 11/18/2007, -0/+30Newsflash: Every innocent person on the planet is "a *potential* terrorist". - MrKrinkleDude, on 11/18/2007, -0/+26Actually this is kinda old. They handed out these documents at F.L.E.T.C about a year or so ago. It's pretty disgusting when you read the entire thing. They also reference various types of clothing, like "Jeans". Doesn't everyone have at least 1 pair of jeans? You've been branded, welcome to the club.
- LegendX, on 11/18/2007, -3/+27The country is going to end up destroying itself. It is as if the US government isn't part of the USofA yet rules over us. An important document that has created the foundation of the United States of America becomes a tool for "potential terrorist"? If this continues, I predict a civil war will occur.
- venuspcs, on 11/18/2007, -15/+38All of you please head my words carefully, now is the time to take action.
Under the 15th Amendment the one that enacted the presidential term limit of two 4 year terms there is a proviso that states that as long as the country is in a "congressionally approved time of war" the acting president can continue as the president until congress declares an end to the war. Additionally, congress has made such a declaration when they approved the "war on terror". To make matters worse, as previously stated, FEMA does not operate within the laws of the Constitution. If you all recall during Katrina FEMA was blind sided by the Bush Administration. The resulting scandal resulted in the head of FEMA resigning and BUSH appointing a long time friend (personal bitch) in as the Director of FEMA. Then along came the Patriot Act which gave the president "line item veto", made it damn near impossible for congress to over ride a presidential veto and gave the president the power to declare war or "a state of emergency" without congressional approval or consent. As if that isn't all bad enough the Military Commissions act that was enacted last year gave the president "sole discretion" in identifying, detaining, torturing (I mean interrogating), seizing assets and killing american citizens that he deems to be terrorists. Other recent legislation expanded on those powers by clarifying what a "terrorist" is: one of those many definitions was "anyone who disagrees with the government or speaks out against it".
I say to you all "GEORGE W. BUSH IS A DICTATOR AND I PROMISE YOU HE WILL NOT BE LEAVING THE WHITE HOUSE ON JANUARY 9, 2009". Believe me or not, it is up to you....but if you research what I have said you will see I am not making this up.

HILE BUSH - KingBunny, on 11/18/2007, -2/+25The only problem with Americans fleeing to Canada is that there will be sort of a "brain drain".. although more of a "logic drain"... leaving only the gullible. That can't be good for America (whatever remains of it).

These executive orders are nothing new -- the most recent is 31 years old -- but they are suddenly looking a lot more sinister under the direction the current administration is taking this country. - shadowspires, on 11/18/2007, -2/+20Long live the rEVOLution! http://www.teaparty07.com
- VitriolAndAngst, on 11/18/2007, -0/+18They plan ahead. If you read Patriot Act I, there is a provision for confiscating suspicious precious metals in safe deposit boxes. The bank managers can also not inform you that your possessions have been searched. AND, if you don't complain about the theft -- I mean, confiscation within 90 days (they one nobody had to tell you about), you forfeit any future claims.
Of course, all this can be done without a warrant, probably cause, or explanation -- the Government can just declare that you have a suspiciously large amount of gold that could be used for ill purposes.
You know, the Nazis liked taking people's gold too. - phoobaar, on 11/18/2007, -0/+17That's why they've tried to silence him.
I'm seriously considering a trip to my nearest FBI branch office with the pocket Constitution I keep here on my desk, to turn myself in as a clear and present danger to national security. * race
* religion
* political opinion
* nationality or
* membership in a particular social group, such as women or people of a particular sexual orientation.
That's from the refugee section of the Canadian immigration site, linked by AriaStar. I wouldn't be the slightest surprised if we started getting "American refugees" within months.. actually, when I think about it, didn't black people flee to Canada in the past?
