- smitas, on 08/13/2008, -0/+3Oh what a mess!
- kaifanun, on 08/12/2008, -2/+5What an arrogance of the Bush Administration. Also the article is mentioning that other nations. What other countries? I have not heard any nation making a huge demand like U.S.
- Mesimeris, on 08/13/2008, -0/+2I wouldn't call it Pro-Russia/Anti-Georgia Bush-hatred so much as I would call it anti-American-Hypocrisy...
- SRSco, on 08/13/2008, -1/+3You people need to read more news before jumping on the pro-Russian bandwagon that is so prevalent on Digg. Being Anti-American doesn't mean you have to be Anti-Georgian and Pro-Russian. That makes no sense.
Bush isn't being arrogant. He doesn't speak for the G7. The G7 is a helluva lot more inclined to support Georgia than Russia through all this (if they decide to pick sides). Right now they are being diplomatic.
You really need to read more and quit drinking the Digg Kool-Aid. I can't believe you people are going to throw common sense out the window because you are blinded over your own hate of Bush. - Mesimeris, on 08/13/2008, -2/+3So let me see if I've got this right... The U.S can go to war with whomever they please for whatever reason. Yet the moment anyone else decides to do so, America is suddenly the all-pure world police contemplating "punishing" the warmongering nation?
*sigh* - Mesimeris, on 08/23/2008, -0/+1They don't have to be related. It is not about the conflicts, or the reasons behind them themselves, but rather about the fact that America seems to believe they have the right to preach to Russia about this conflict when they themselves are occupying two other nations. It's like Rosie O'Donnell telling Kiera Knightley to lay off the cheeseburgers.
- ventsi, on 08/13/2008, -0/+1hehe What a joke
- Fleagleman, on 08/13/2008, -0/+1...and straight to bed without dessert!
- SRSco, on 08/13/2008, -0/+1This isn't hypocrisy. You can't compare Iraq with Georgia. They're not even close to being related.
- kaifanun, on 08/13/2008, -0/+1This is very sad what is taking place in Georgia and hope this resolves soon before more casualties take place. Large nations like U.S. and Russia taking advantage on the week nations and in the middle are the citizens paying the price.
But I would strongly suggest to you to watch or read other countries news reports other than U.S. main stream media before accusing some digg users jumping on the bandwagon. - jayrok, on 08/13/2008, -2/+1"United States and its allies are considering expelling Moscow from an exclusive club of wealthy nations". So why is the US in this club? I'm sure a Russian millionaire already bought it up anyway.
- dho331, on 08/12/2008, -2/+0In modern day russia, georgia is attacked!
