Love,
Sheep - kemp34, on 07/23/2008, -0/+22Think of how much fuel the war effort takes up. All on the taxpayers' dime. And they really could care less about any environmental concerns. Depleted uranium anyone?
- Erich100, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1You would think with all of the effort to secure oil for the oil companies by our military, they would get more of a break on the price. But that would be what has become Un - American.
- Arcueid01, on 07/23/2008, -1/+19Yeah I don't know why we are at war other than for the profit of large multinational corporations. I wish we could just get along with people and conserve natural resources. If we stayed home and protected our own borders we wouldn't have problems like we do today.
- kemp34, on 07/23/2008, -0/+9There is no doubt about that.
- AustinMandi, on 07/23/2008, -0/+2Yes but if we actually started doing the right thing and taking care of our planet how would they implement the global carbon tax??? And besides, thinking they are human with any type of recognizable emotions is assuming too much.
- Habit4ming, on 07/23/2008, -2/+11This is absolute madness! Hello!!! There is a cycle to life: critters ingest water, critters ingest plants and other critters, humans ingest critters and plants and water....when they all become so polluted that it can't sustain life, whatta gonna do then???? Hello!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you think your money is gonna save ya?????????? Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Truzseeker, on 07/23/2008, -1/+3where's Al Gore ?
- MarkEarhart, on 07/24/2008, -0/+7If people had any idea what the depleted uranium alone is already doing in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as what it is doing to our veterans they would demand an end. We aren't immune to radiation from DU either, it spreads around the world through weather cycles in the form of fine particles which are inhaled. It is deadly to every life form on earth, and it has a half life of 4.5 billion years. Troops who sit on ammo boxes in Bradleys develop colon cancer. Thirty seven US states had enough exposure to DU four years ago to be lethal to the inhabitants in the long haul. Military bases and ranges that fire it, and/or store it are the deadliest biohazard imaginable. Cancers of all kind, especially lymphoma and leukemia, deadly birth defects, impotence or severely painful intercourse, children born with no eyes or brains, arms, legs......
- britt48, on 07/24/2008, -0/+4Important story-valuable info. to pass around-problem is I see more and more people absolutely overwhelmed with 2 and 3 jobs-no time to ingest important data like this-its up to folks who take the time like you diggers. peace.
