The truth is, they were just all in the mood to head down the street to Starbucks. Let's face it, though that is sarcasm, it isn't far from the truth. So what if they "walked out of a meeting"? For all we know, they didn't want to have to pay their daycare service overtime to take care of their kids. And you know the traffic perplexities at the rush hour in New York. Best to duck out of the meeting before the traffic gets too heavy....
I'm not impressed.
I would have told the guy to meet me out in the parking lot, I would have wanted to knock his lights out. Or not. Believe me, those that think they can send a signal of "protest" by walking out of an event.... hey, that is so '80s! But if I were to hear something disagreeable, or just plain disgusting, I'd not be walking out. I'd be giving a piece of my mind. Right? Wouldn't you? Dimplemats.... I mean dimplomats.... I mean, ..... cowards...... - kleenex1, on 04/24/2008, -4/+5While I sympathize with Israel, the situation in Palestine is very dire and requires attention. I don't agree that it's comparable to the concentration camps, but it's a serious issue that needs to be addressed. The UN should acknowledge this.
- inactive, on 04/24/2008, -5/+6Look. This "situation" is caused by a band of homicidal Jew-hating Islamists wishing to wage war on each other and upon Israel. Furthermore, this merry group of enlightened individuals was ELECTED by the morons in "Palestine". The UN needs to do what, precisely? Teach the Palis how to think? Hold their hand while they vote for better leaders? Excuse me, but no. These fools got what they wanted. Let them burn in it.

- inactive, on 04/24/2008, -3/+3Zechariah 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
These humanist fools who demand the division of Israel don't even know that their strings are being pulled by forces the likes of which of which they cannot even conceive.. They will lead the world in a charge straight in to a period of time the likes of which have never been seen in this world. - inactive, on 04/25/2008, -4/+4Another dumbass scumbag who doesn't have a single braincell. This situation was caused by a bunch of foreign invaders who thought the fact that their co-religionist had survived a genocide would justify their ethnic cleansing of a people who didn't have anything to do with the genocide in question. If the Palestinians deserve what they are getting then 9/11 is the very least of what you deserve in return...
- Argentian, on 04/24/2008, -1/+1Ah, it may be 80's, but the 21st century addition is to do it with a very straight back and a stomping of the feet. Now THAT makes the emphasis plain to all, even a head-sanded Libyan.
- israeligirl, on 04/24/2008, -10/+7A surprising gesture from the UN which is always so quick to single Israel out and not in a favorable manner.
