UK Surveillance Society 'danger to individual liberty': Commissioner

theinquirer.net — The House of Lords Constitution Committee, currently investigating surveillance and data collection in the UK, will today (Wednesday) hear evidence from Richard Thomas, the Information Commissioner, and his deputy Jonathan Bamford. Thomas has repeatedly drawn attention to the rise of what he has dubbed the 'surveillance society' and its dangers.
