- Lies lies lies. This is only for like baptists and those superchurches. All you do in Catholic church is sit down, kneel, stand up, kneel, stand up, shake hands, kneel, stand up, walk, take communion, walk, drink wine, walk, kneel, stand up. And you get to sing and chant in between all of that. No dancing. Oh, and they beg you for money and occasionally hold blasphemous fund raisers like bingo night. I thought that Jesus was against gambling.
I dread every time it's my turn to take my grandmother to church. The only time when it's only somewhat worthwhile are when the Polish kids come over from Europe to work for the summer and there's something to look at for that hour. - inactive, on 05/23/2008, -1/+6I am agnostic as well, but not for lack of trying when I was younger. I went to an Evangelical church for about 6 months (my longest stint at any one religious affiliation). Man were they a blast! Better than the Southern Baptists and Pentecostals (have plenty of them in my family tree) for just all out freaking out during church, but in a fun way. Church was a workout!

had a sunday school teacher long long time ago that told us it was OK and completely normal to laugh, even in church. that humor was another of gods gift but trying my hardest to make people laugh at church was rude and god does not like little rude boys. pretty heavy thought for a 6 yr old now that i look back - luther70, on 05/23/2008, -0/+3If only they had mentioned the BBQs back in my CCD classes I might not of given up Catholicism for Lent.

I used to receive letters in the mail from some "Christian" organization that would send you a prayer necklace that would bring you money if prayed upon, but to receive it you had to send a charitable donation so the Lord would work miracles in your life. So if this site wasn't a spoof it wouldn't of surprised me.
