- espchick, on 06/30/2009, -1/+27Umm.. how do they get "male toddler" from "14 year old girl"?
"Officials confirmed three bodies and a 14-year-old female survivor have been recovered in the water off the Comoros, an archipelago of three islands about 2,900 kilometres south of Yemen. The survivor was initially reported to be a male toddler." - TheDudeDean, on 09/13/2009, -0/+21At least its a little good news
- spacejam45, on 06/30/2009, -1/+17so the toddler ended up being a teenager?
- lukas88, on 06/30/2009, -0/+12kids grow up so fast
- tosh9i, on 06/30/2009, -4/+13When you say "toddler", are you referring to the 14 year old girl?
"A toddler is a young child who is of the age of learning to walk.[1] between infancy and childhood. Toddling usually begins between age 12 and 24 months."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toddler - carguy84, on 06/30/2009, -0/+8Air France didn't just have an incident?
- MoeWasHere, on 06/30/2009, -1/+9I'm Yemeni and I'm traveling there in a week - but this is why we have NEVER flown that airlines.
It's either Air France, Royal Jordanian (which we affectionately call 'Air Jordan'), Emirates or some other airlines from a much more industrialized nation for the sole reason they will have the funds to hire better talent and the funds to maintain their planes.
This is unfortunate and extremely sad to hear but at the same time hopefully this will shed light on such airlines that do not take the safety of their passengers with the utmost importance. - ShiningSquirrel, on 06/30/2009, -0/+5Why does the story say a 14 year old girl?
Did they change the story or what? Or is 14 a toddler now? - angusware, on 06/30/2009, -0/+5The story has been changed since it was added... the initial reports were wrong.
- gcnaddict, on 06/30/2009, -0/+4First of all, this girl will be scarred for life.
Second, this girl is lucky as sin for managing to survive. - inactive, on 06/30/2009, -1/+5It was a toddler this morning, the first reports were about a 5 y/o boy.
It changed to a 14 y/o girl something late this morning. - michaelrsa, on 06/30/2009, -0/+3Well if he's young enough he won't even remember it. Plus he's going to get headlines, people will feel bad and someone will raise him.
- redfan, on 06/30/2009, -0/+3So, anyone know the whereabouts of Samuel L. Jackson?

- gemlarin, on 06/30/2009, -0/+1Toddler? Either the submission is titled wrong, or the source changed the article, because a 14 Year old girl is most certainly not a toddler.
- bizzywho, on 06/30/2009, -1/+2I've had it with these ***** snakes on this ***** plane!

- curlz10, on 07/01/2009, -0/+0My father is from Yemen and ive been there twice. The airport alone in Sanaa is extremely outdated and confusing.
- michaelrsa, on 06/30/2009, -3/+3How could he have survived that plane crash, unless he.... he.... brought it down himself.
It all makes sense, who better to carry it out than than the one nobody would ever suspect. -
