According to TV, half the people are inbreds in the south. On TV everyone in the south is a jesus freak. From TV I learned that in the south, you have poor and rich, with no middle class and the rich use jesus to keep them happy to be there. But, from TV I also see all the barbecue places, so it can't be all bad. Any place that can birth pulled pork can birth other wonderful things as well.

      So while some of that may be true to an extent, TV is very biased against the south, or at least it was when I was growing up. And no. I don't live in the south.

      manicleek is right, seriously. No one in the UK would give a toss if you painted insulting things about a soccer team on your car. A BBC tv crew tried driving round some of the rougher bits of Edinburgh and Glasgow during the World Cup with a car done up in the England colours. People laughed and yelled insults, but there were no fights.

      Going round insulting people's religion would probably piss people off, but then the Top Gear people didn't do that - unless NASCAR is a religion.
