The U.N. claims incompetence not alarmism in pushing H.I.V statistics

nytimes.com — After releasing new figures showing that the global AIDS epidemic is smaller than it previously reported, the United Nations ’ AIDS-fighting agency denied yesterday that it had inflated estimates for years in an alarmist effort to raise funds.

  • InRussetShadows, on 11/29/2007, -0/+2So the U.N comes clean and admits that it is a ship of bumbling, inept fools! It's either that or admitting that agenda trumps science. Now how about the inability to detect any danger from Iran's nuclear program?
