en.wikipedia.org — The Tulsa Race Riot was a massacre that took place in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1921. More than 300 African Americans were killed by an angry mob over a made-up incident. In 2001, the "1921 Tulsa Race Riot Reconciliation Act" was passed, falling short of the Tulsa Race Riot Commission recommendations. Appeals about the case are still happening nowadays.
