  • AlwaysAwake, on 05/17/2008, -0/+4What a waste of human beings. virtually ignored by our society. We turn our eyes and faces away from them every day, as if they do not exist, Pursuing "happiness", we are heartless, indifferent, and insensitive to their loneliness, pain, and suffering.
  • yellowcakewalk, on 05/17/2008, -0/+7There are around 11,000 homeless in the Washington DC area. You can find hundreds withing a three block radius of the White House. Children, elderly women and elderly men, mothers, it's a disgrace.
    • yellowcakewalk, on 05/17/2008, -0/+2Magritta, our homeless friend in Farragut Square sends her best to you. She just finished her fourth winter on the street. Pretty ***** up for a woman over seventy years old. I gave her twenty bucks, but don't know what else to do right now.
