The Israeli Attack on the USS Liberty

brasschecktv.com — On June 8th, 1967, the Israeli military attacked and attempted to sink the USS Liberty as she sailed under a US flag in international waters. Thirty-four US servicemen were killed and 171 injured by a well-coordinated, multi-wave assault which included the use of napalm. The Israeli military called the attack a "tragic mistake"

Either they were so incompetent they bombed a plainly-marked US ship for hours, or it was deliberate. Either way, why are we sending our tax money to such adversaries? Many Americans object to their tax money being used to arm this foreign county while our own citizens are having problems making ends meet. If you care, help stop the foreign lobbyists! Tell your Congressional representatives we need the money at home for schools, National Guard equipment to cover emergencies, and needs of Americans first.

        1) It was not a carrier. Your comment seems merely knee-jerking, not paying attention, and spoken without even knowing what the Liberty was. FAIL.
        2) Okay, so if they did not intentionally attack, they accidently attacked a clearly marked ship that their planes had been overflying carefully all day, This says they are incompetent. Why should we give our citizens' money to arm someone so incompetent they attack the hand that feeds them?
        3) "Buried for anti-semitic hate mongering." I speak out for the interests of the USA, and you ignore them and play the standard card, suck up to Israel. Who's the patriot and who's the propagandist here?
