so much for the "WAR ON (some..) DRUGS"
The former LA Police Narcotics Officer is Mike Ruppert. He is widely known for his groundbreaking stories on US involvement in the drug trade, peak oil and 9/11. I have met him in person and spoke at great length with him several years ago. One of the good guys in a world of 2-faced deceivers.. He's a truly intelligent wealth of knowledge about how government really operates behind the scenes when the cameras are off. His book Crossing the Rubicon is a most worthwhile read:
http://www.amazon.com/Crossing-Rubicon-Decline-Ame ...
"The attacks of September 11, 2001, were accomplished through an amazing orchestration of logistics and personnel. Crossing the Rubicon discovers and identifies key suspects-finding some of them in the highest echelons of American government-by showing how they acted in concert to guarantee that the attacks produced the desired result.
Crossing the Rubicon is unique not only for its case-breaking examination of 9/11, but for the breadth and depth of its world picture-an interdisciplinary analysis of petroleum, geopolitics, narcotraffic, intelligence and militarism-without which 9/11 cannot be understood."- ciaran036, on 07/19/2008, -2/+5When we know the truth about 9/11, we can piece together all the other ways our governments have deceived us and bring the true story to the mainstream.
- Izult, on 07/19/2008, -0/+4I knew a guy who said he was in the military & part of the gun selling to Nicaragua during the Regan years. Said that he was always allowed to inspect the boxes going in to verify the gun count but never the boxes going out, but there was always this white powdery residue on all the boxes. It’s all hearsay of course but considering what we know now I can’t say I’m too surprised by much of anything when it comes to drugs and our government.

- Ferre1, on 07/19/2008, -3/+14While the CIA trades drugs, the DEA and FBI clean up their competition. Smart thinking.
- GeoffChang, on 07/19/2008, -2/+4Does anyone know what happened to that guy?
- JimmySpaza, on 07/19/2008, -14/+3I might be a little more inclined to believe this...except then the video jumped right into the usual 9/11 conspiracy theories, most of which have been debunked by witnesses on the ground when it happened.
Hey leftwing wackos! If you want people to believe you, you're going to have to do more than post a video which is a congolmeration of every conspiracy that you believe in. Take your time. Post the evidence. Oh, and don't use Rep. Barbara Lee as a reference. She's a little left of Mao tse-Tung and Pol Pot.- ciaran036, on 07/19/2008, -2/+4left-wing wackos? What are you trying to say? That right-wing wackos DON'T believe this?
- ciaran036, on 07/19/2008, -2/+9David Icke talking about drugs:
“If you are taking
hard drugs, or thinking of doing so, remember this: You are not being a ‘rebel’ or
‘dropping out’, you are committing mental, emotional, spiritual and eventually
physical, suicide, and you are doing exactly what the people who control this world
want you to do. The choice is yours, but understand the game before you start. There is
only one winner when you get into drugs. And it’s never you.”
“Violence and crime always follows the drug trade as drug dealers battle for supremacy
and addicts mug and steal to finance their habit. This offers the Brotherhood a
wonderful opportunity to offer the ‘solution’ to this ‘problem’ -more power to the police
and further erosion of basic freedoms. I saw an opinion poll in the Los Angeles Times a
few years ago in which something like 84% of those questioned said they would give
up basic freedoms if they thought it would win the war on drugs. Problem-reaction-solution.”
“The drug trade is not only about making vast amounts of money, although that is
important to fund the Agenda into place, it is also designed to break down societies and
stop young people manifesting their true worth and potential. When people are hooked
on drugs they are not going to be a problem to the Brotherhood’s grand design.”
I knew someone who took a lot of alcohol and drugs - despite one of the best performers in school - he threw himself off a bridge last year and killed himself.
This is how the CIA fund their covert ops. CIA can't just conjure up money from nowhere can they? It's difficult to do covert ops using allocated funds. So that's where the drug trade comes in.- dre357, on 07/19/2008, -0/+3Agree to a large extent. However, personal responsibility must be considered to a certain degree. No one forces U.S. to do drugs. It's a creepy and bizarre world in which we live, no question. And certainly when certain segments of our society have little hope, and mostly despair, it's easy to see why people want to kill their pain through drugs. Just take the African American community where we live here in Los Angeles and other cities. Racism is a very strong component and factor in this drug+despair equation. Let it be also known, that there are very patriotic persons who do protect our country in various intelligence departments. Also, think and ponder for a moment about the greatness of this country, being able to talk and discuss these issues and problems. I would probably guarantee that this open dialogue would be shut down ASAP in China and most other countries.
- ciaran036, on 07/20/2008, -0/+1No-one forces no but I get the feeling that it is 'cool' to take drugs. It's what all the 'cool' celebs take, it's what all the cool people take in the movies and what all the cool people take in video games. I have friends who only take drugs simply because they think it makes them cool. They don't care how it affects them.

- trotskyist, on 07/19/2008, -1/+3I'm not one to stick up for the US Gov't by any means, but I'm going to need more than some guy on google video as evidence for this.
- obliviousfool, on 07/19/2008, -0/+3Check out his book, "Crossing the Rubicon." It is thick (and I mean *thick*) with notes and sources. There are plenty of places to look for information on this. There is also a very interesting video by a lady who left a large investment bank on Wall Street when she realized that the numbers didn't add up without a serious influx of drug money. I forget her name.
Also, check out "The Mena Connection" on YouTube.

- rareblue, on 07/19/2008, -1/+6Trotskyist - Do research then find out for yourself. Check the freedom of information act. Analyze data, look at who has the most to gain in any operation. Every time I see a comment that says I need to see more tells me that you are not researching. Don't believe anything that anyone posts as absolute proof, research it and prove it right or wrong for yourself.
- SatoriSeeker, on 07/24/2008, -0/+1Exactly. When you look only at the facts - listen to other peoples conclusions sure - but in the end make your own strictly on the facts. If that requires extra to go fact check and think, it's worth it in the end to be damn sure of your opinion on a certain subject
- Flushnasty, on 07/19/2008, -0/+7 common sense will tell you the war on drugs isn't for the benefit of the average citizen.
