Terrorist bulldozer driver shot by police (graphic) watch!
players.mediazone.co.il — Pvt. Moshe Plesser, an off-duty soldier fresh out of basic training, rushed to the scene and jumped on the tractor, also shooting the terrorist. But he kept going. Moments later a pair of SWAT officers managed to course through the chaos on a motorcycle. Mizrachi then also jumped onto the tractor's stairs and shot the terrorist twice, killing him.

/sarcasm off/- OwdenBowden, on 07/02/2008, -0/+14Nothing to Condemn Israel for! I think the soldier did exactly what had to be done given the situation. What people in Diggland do not get it the fact that All Israel wants to do is go about its business in peace and yet they are forced to defend themselves from terrorist and terrorist acts by the Arab nations that surround them.

/sarcasm off/- lgfaphile, on 07/02/2008, -1/+22In what way should Israelis be "mildly" criticized for this atrocity?
- mmmmmbiscuits, on 07/02/2008, -2/+20Some douchebag Jooooooo-hater will show up whining about being called out on his anti-semitism in 5..... Oh wait, HE'S ALREADY HERE!
- JimSwarthow, on 07/02/2008, -1/+16ya live by the bulldozer, ya die by the pistol -
honestly wtf is wrong w/ these people?? okay, you hate Israelis/Jews. WE. GET. IT. - wtf does essentially committing suicide do for your cause?? you're no good to anyone if you're dead. jeez oh pete these people are idiots.- DerangedPenguin, on 07/02/2008, -0/+10 My heart weeps not for the Nation and People of Israel for they know the truth, that life is precious and needs to be cherished and protected. Even that of those who are not Jewish. My heart aches instead for the misguided, lied to of Islam. Too many years herding goats under a hot sun, too many indoctrination speeches by the Muslim Inman's about the glory of murder in the name of Allah, too many years reading the passages in the Crayon about the importance of hate, death and destruction in spreading Islam and not enough fun, makes Abu El Mohammad a mad man.
- wpi97, on 07/02/2008, -1/+12If you claim that this atrocity is somehow Israel's fault, then damn right I'll call you an antisemite. Or, rather, a Jew-hater, so that you don't start with the stupid canard that "antisemite" also refers to other semitic people, when we all know that the term was specifically coined by Jew-haters to mean "Jew-hatred".
- franklymister, on 07/02/2008, -0/+23That also shows what an armed populace can do. Imagine, god forbid, the same scene in downtown DC or New York - he could have killed even more people with the bulldozer if there hadn't been armed citizens right there on the scene.
- DerangedPenguin, on 07/02/2008, -0/+19I actually felt safe in Israel knowing that half the people on the street were armed with an Uzi of a IMI Desert Eagle. Can't say I feel the same way in Chicago nor New York nor D.C. where only the bad guys have firearms. The few good citizens who are packing, both legally and illegally will only use a firearm if the situation turns to one where it is better to be tried by twelve than carried by six.
- OwdenBowden, on 07/02/2008, -0/+15I am all for the arming of "The People" in the US. As a life long New Yorker NYC I find it absolutely worthless to place you faith and trust in the Justice system, Government and Police department of NYC. It can cost you your life. The fact that we live in a society where the very people who break into your home to rob you can Sue and WIN if they get hurt in you house while committing a crime is major indication that we (law abiding citizens) have a serious problem.
- bluto36, on 07/02/2008, -0/+17maybe they can still use the body to do a prisoner exchange. oh yeah, the palis wont want you back if you cant kill anymore jews.

- ssn697, on 07/02/2008, -0/+22"Palestinian militant groups claimed responsibility for the attack, although Israeli police said initial evidence suggested that Dawiath was a “terrorist acting on his own”.
Yep. No less than three different groups jumped up immediately, desperately trying to be the group to take credit for killing and injuring innocent civilians. The proud Palestinian "freedom fighters" that we keep hearing about from americangoy and yellowcake... - CTRaider, on 07/02/2008, -1/+14Let's not forget how a STUDENT carrying a gun in SCHOOL stopped the bloodshed as well.
http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/961703.html- hadees, on 07/02/2008, -2/+2I know what you are going for and I agree if the United States was in what is essentially an active war zone having all adults carry weapons would be a good idea. However thank G-d we aren't in that situation.
- CTRaider, on 07/02/2008, -0/+8Whoa, by you saying you know what I was going for made me think what else might be interpreted. Just to clarify. I'm not looking to send our young children to school with guns. College age could be another story though. And it sure would have helped if a teacher had a concealed carry at Columbine.
- hadees, on 07/02/2008, -0/+2I didn't think you where talking about young children but I don't think having every yokel, college age and above, running around with weapons makes anyone safer. Just because we have a right to bear arms doesn't mean everyone is competent enough to use them in the correct manner. In Israel most of the population served in the military and are taught the proper way to use weapons. We make people take classes but it isn't anything like a military course.
And sure if a teacher in Columbine had a weapon things might have ended differently but, even though the media would lead you to believe your life is in danger ever moment, Columbine is a rarity, unlike the situation in Israel.
What we really need in the United States isn't more people wandering around with guns every day but rather adequate and competent security guards. Now considering the costs of having good security and the rarity of these events I would be ok with having some teachers specially trained to react to those situations and as such have access to weapons. But they would need to go through specialized training and regular evaluations to make sure they are still up to the task. But just letting a teacher wander around with a concealed weapon I don't think makes people any safer and if the teacher is an idiot then it could in fact make people less safe given the statical probability of a Columbine happening verses the chances the moron teacher caring a gun every day would at some point leave the loaded gun somewhere kids could get it or drop it causing it to fire.
