He should've spoken to a lawyer before pleading to any charges.

While what he did to his grandmother was merely "dopey," but weapons charges clearly cross the line into criminal. And they did treat him as a juvenile, despite his adult age of 18, so it's tough for me to think they're being to harsh on the kid.
