- Nateon, on 04/29/2009, -1/+180Title is misleading, it makes it seem like the teacher actually is responsible for her vanishing.
- WoWii, on 04/29/2009, -29/+188WHITE GIRL MISSING!
SOMEONE CALL GRETTA AND NANCY! - diggydougie, on 04/29/2009, -0/+114Headline makes it look like the teacher did it. But she left the school at 10:00 while the teacher was still there.
- CoD4, on 04/29/2009, -0/+85How you gonna advertise on national tv and then run out of chicken???
- wannaBdug, on 04/28/2009, -2/+74I can't imagine what it must be like to have a child missing. Very sad.
- Tcasey0478, on 04/29/2009, -3/+63She worked at Popeye's Chicken. They ran out of Chicken, anyone could have done it!
- haxxorboi, on 04/29/2009, -0/+58Title is misleading, teacher likely had nothing to do with this. Also, this was 2 years ago, which threw me for a second as I thought this was more immediate.
My guess is either the boyfriend or an abduction. Then again she could've just left and said screw it to her old life. Hopefully, for the sake of the parents at least, she's found. Obviously alive would be preferable, but I couldn't imagine losing a family member and never knowing what happened, even if they were dead. - o0adam0o, on 04/29/2009, -0/+55How we posed to feed our kidz?
- the2989, on 04/29/2009, -14/+63Sad but true. The American media is quite racist with their picking of stories like this.
- anexanhume, on 04/29/2009, -0/+40I cannot stand Nancy Grace. She's so vindictive and self-righteous I actually WANT the people she is accusing to be innocent. It's a tragedy anytime someone goes missing, but her honing in on demographics and acting like her crap is worth more per ounce than saffron is insidiously annoying.
- SSJiffy, on 04/29/2009, -1/+41What a sensationalist headline. No where in the article is it suggested the argument had anything to do with her disappearance. In summary: The girl was upset, left school early, and no one hears from her again.
- renanrrinaldi, on 04/29/2009, -0/+37Yeah. I was thinking: well, no one will argue with that teacher ever again.
- Pasaris, on 04/29/2009, -3/+39You're a douchebag. She was beautiful, especially to her parents.
- IllBeBack, on 04/29/2009, -0/+34How the hell am I supposed to feed my family NOW!!!!???????!!!!
- MWeather, on 04/29/2009, -9/+41This isn't 4chan, but it also isn't sandyvagina.com, so roll with the punches, OK?
- inactive, on 04/29/2009, -1/+32No chicken? or are they just out of chicken?
- Frozo, on 04/29/2009, -0/+31Yes, She's gone, the chicken is gone. Find the chicken and you'll find Kara.

- hokie47, on 04/29/2009, -15/+42I love to make off colored comments too, but really guys this is one thing you should not joke about. "I'd hit it."She really likes my basement." Are we 4chan now?
- inactive, on 04/29/2009, -3/+29This reminds me of the Dateline that I watched last week: Disappearance at the Dairy Queen. This girl had a crush on a kid (probably first one) and was lured by the kid's dad to a meeting for his birthday. He abducted/killed her. Really sad episode/story.
Disappearance at the Dairy Queen
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30229824/ - BooLag, on 04/29/2009, -7/+33How the hell did this make front page? BREAKING 2 year old missing person news...
- RumpleForeskin3, on 04/29/2009, -1/+25She does look invincible though.
- Wereling, on 04/29/2009, -0/+23What the hell is up with the headline? Seems like they're trying to paint the teacher as the prime suspect with it, even when the police haven't narrowed down the suspect with it. Kind of weaselly if you ask me.
- latinjones, on 04/29/2009, -1/+22Kara worked at Popeye's....There has to be some kind of connection.
- Premier, on 04/29/2009, -2/+20we been looking forward to this date
- ATL, on 06/20/2009, -2/+19So what are you implying?
I remember being 15 and being able to get cigarettes. - MattB123, on 04/29/2009, -0/+17Sad. Hope she's ok but I doubt it.
- indubitably, on 04/29/2009, -2/+17CHICKEN TETRAZZINI!!
- inactive, on 04/29/2009, -1/+16They shoulda had a tractor-trailer out back wit chicken on ice, you know?
- diggydougie, on 04/29/2009, -2/+17After this long she is either dead or never coming home again.
- ATL, on 06/20/2009, -5/+20there is a special place in hell for you
- LonesomeFighter, on 04/29/2009, -1/+15she was 17, now 18. WAY too old for a pedobear
- inigomntoya, on 04/29/2009, -2/+15Me too. I will notify Digg right before I call the cops!
- inigomntoya, on 04/29/2009, -0/+13Here's your headline:
"Girl argues with teacher, summons flesh eating demons, vanishes in flash and smoke!" - CrazedLeper, on 04/29/2009, -3/+15Tell us how you know.
- terracottapai, on 04/29/2009, -1/+13Nancy is already on it (note the site).
- Spyder810, on 04/29/2009, -0/+12This happened 2 YEARS ago...
- Scrappy1850, on 04/29/2009, -2/+13in detail
- electrikyle, on 04/29/2009, -2/+13Just because it happened in 2007 doesn't mean she still can't be helped, if she's alive. I'd hate to be the child of some of you sarcastic commenters. Would you just stop looking for your kid when their story dropped out of the mainstream media after a week?
- insidiousraven, on 04/29/2009, -2/+12I know some people are saying "We're only hearing this because its a white girl" And I don't really think that is true. When this girl went missing, I didn't hear anything about it for at least a year, and I only heard about it then because they related her to Kelsey Smith who was also missing at the time. The only way things like this get to the media is if the parents and the community step up and make it happen. No matter the race or color or what have you, it will not get attention unless someone makes sure it gets attention.
I was in the high school band program with Kelsey Smith, and they had hundreds of volunteers from the community helping get the word out that she was missing. You could not go a hundred feet without seeing or hearing her name. And I truly believe they would not have solved that case so quickly without all of the help and attention that her family and community gave.
The sad truth: If you want these things to get solved quickly, you need a big army behind you, and they need to be loud. - Quicksilver4648, on 04/29/2009, -0/+104/22. Never Forget.
- cptmichael101st, on 04/29/2009, -3/+13"im not trying to bring race into this, but all 4 girls missing here in FL are black."
But that's exactly what you just did! - anstice85, on 04/29/2009, -0/+10She has literally been reporting on the Caylee Anthony case for 47 years.
- Samurai77, on 04/29/2009, -2/+11So human life is not valued in your world, good to know.
- ChromaVita, on 04/29/2009, -13/+22She walked off school campus. This is not vanishing. If she had gotten in an argument with the teacher and then vanished this would have been a much more exciting news story.
- inigomntoya, on 04/29/2009, -0/+9@unreg - except my prostate. amiright?
- amnesiac096, on 04/29/2009, -0/+9sad, but most likely true.
- sm4k, on 04/29/2009, -0/+8I live in the Kansas City metropolitan area--which Belton is also part of--and this story has been a pretty huge deal here for a long time. In stores and even on the sides of major highways in Belton you still see lots of "Find Kara Kopetsky" signs and reminders. It's touching that such a large area is working together to find a girl, and it's sad that after this long there still aren't even any real minor suspects.
All that said, I'm still surprised and a little confused as to why this is major news all of a sudden. - anthropodeus, on 04/29/2009, -2/+10CALL TEH GHOSTBUSTRZ, MORAN
