Society demands satisfaction. Punish these people. Ever see those sex machines? Stick them up these guys' asses and do it back to them. Justice isn't about moral superiority, it's about being blind. They need to understand firsthand what they are doing. Feel it.
Robert Heinlein understood this. I always think about him when I see stories like this. We should not jail these people. While it's obviously in the best interests of society to have these creeps locked up as long as possible, let's not imply that the victim is doing something wrong for not immediately calling the police.
