Teen cops tasered 19 times released from hospital

rawstory.com — Nearly two weeks later, he's out of the hospital but still lying in bed, hardly able to move. "It should be a couple months before I'm able to walk on my own." His family says what made his situation worse is that his surgery had to be postponed because he had been stunned by Ozark police 19 times. "At least I'm alive though."

    They tasered a child with a broken back injured on the ground for his own safety?

    "...and that of the officers who allegedly felt threatened by statements they claim Mace made after the fall."

    What?

    Healthy, well trained and well armed police were threatened by a child laying on the ground with a broken back?
    The officers claim he got up, after a 30 foot fall onto concrete, with a broken leg and broken back, and was yelling threatening statements at the them?
    I hope they have dash cameras to back up that statement.

    The cops should be tried and put in prison.

    All good cops, EVERYWHERE, should denounce such brutality and call for sanctions on these crazy cops giving them a bad name.

    Tazed 19 times after falling and breaking your back and shattering your foot? These cops are sick creatures.

    I've been protected from such evils as human dignity, common decency, and Constitutional Rights...while at the same time I'm being served a warm pile of Bull Sh!t...all for a measly 33.333% of my gross income.

    I can only thank God these brave Men In Uniform werent swiftly dispatched by this (albeit slightly built) monster who craftily leapt 30 feet flat onto his back in an effort to distract these heroes from their duty!
    What a Travesty of Justice it woulda been if they'd simply offered medical help and allowed the law of the land to decide the rest...

    "Ladies and Gentlemen. After thorough investigation we have determined that the officers had followed proper procedures. This is the reason we don't hire those with higher I.Q.s....otherwise we'd have an epidemic of thinking cops questioning those procedures".

    Watch out folks, proper procedures are to terrorize and torture the citizens. And a year from now we'll learn they each received medals for valor and bravery for this.

    Don't forget. Tasers are called "tools" by politicians and other big government lovers because we are the "tools" for putting up with this *****.

I hope that kid lives independently wealthy off the law suit for the rest of his life - and I hope he uses half of the funds he gets to help stop the formation of a militia police force on our soil.

  • smashdracs, on 08/03/2008, -0/+6Last year New Zealand Police trialled Tasers as a front line weapon. They later tried to cover up the fact that during the trial 40% of the incidents where the Taser was used by police they IMPROPERLY FOLLOWED PROCEDURE when using them.
