- dn11, on 05/20/2008, -1/+4*****. I had a feeling that would be it. My father died of brain cancer and had the same initial symptoms. If it is the worst type of glioma like my dad had - outlook is very bad Good luck to him
- drachemorder, on 05/20/2008, -3/+2Poor guy. He should resign from the Senate right away and enjoy his remaining time with his family. Actually, I'd say he should have done that years ago, but that's beside the point right now.
- toddcat, on 05/20/2008, -1/+4Best wishes Sen. Kennedy. You're not a young man anymore but this is still an unfortunate diagnosis.
- vasconcj, on 05/20/2008, -2/+1Is this a return of the (in)famous Kennedy Curse? Lets hope not...

Prayers for Kennedy. - Cfahooligan, on 05/20/2008, -1/+5I wish the damn tv pundits and fellow senators and political folks would stop talking about him like he is already dead. He has a serious challenge in front of him sure, but he isn't dead people.
- msjentay, on 05/20/2008, -0/+3You're right. I noticed this too. After thinking about it, I think that people are just taken aback by the direness of his diagnosis and the chances of survival for this type of diagnosis. I think it's just the weight of potentially losing the last of the Kennedy sons; it's kind of like the finality of losing Princess Diana; there are only so many figures like Ted Kennedy (and Princess Diana) and the possibility of losing the legacy kind of leaves people with little to say.
- msjentay, on 05/20/2008, -1/+4The Kennedy's are American royalty and Ted has been one of the greatest politicians of all time. This is extremely sad and he's the last of a great legacy; there'll never be another family like their's. I'm optimistic he'll pull through.
- jcannonb, on 05/21/2008, -0/+2No one should ever get brain cancer no matter how you feel about them. That is just so sad...
- ArtLiquid, on 05/21/2008, -0/+2Love you! Sending you some good energy & vibes to heal .

- womensgroup, on 05/21/2008, -0/+1Our very best wishes to the entire Kennedy family!
- kroses, on 05/21/2008, -0/+1I have grown old with Ted Kennedy and his family. He has been important to me, without my knowing how very much. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his loved ones. It will be difficult to live without one of the Kennedy brothers around. They have been ubiquitous and important to American history!
