- Felix1085, on 09/02/2008, -31/+192Once exposed to the truth of Constitutional freedom and liberty by Ron Paul, there is no way that this American will ever stop fighting until our rights granted under the Constitution are restored.
- lamejoketeller, on 09/03/2008, -27/+121I like Ron Paul like I like the iPhone. I'm not going to be able to get one anytime soon, but it means good things for the future of phones that are within my reach.
- agaiziunas, on 09/03/2008, -34/+123I look forward to the documentary film to be made some time in the mid 21st century, showing how Ron Paul was one of the primary catalysts in the turnaround of the US back to a respected, prosperous nation. But for that to happen the Campaign for Liberty must keep growing! Spread the word!

You're the Man DR.Paul. - klasifyde, on 09/02/2008, -19/+78Live coverage on cspan-2
- jarofclay, on 09/03/2008, -21/+77Heard the speech and it was an eye opener. Ron Paul makes a lot of sense.
- jaymzdean, on 09/03/2008, -29/+83People who hate Ron Paul hate freedom and that makes them terrorists.
- NuttyVirus, on 09/03/2008, -31/+80Ron Paul = hope and change and the only candidate who would put the country first.
- sandaboy, on 09/03/2008, -18/+62Wow, something not badmouthing the republicans on the front page of digg.
- inactive, on 09/03/2008, -21/+62Awesome rally! Have watched and listened all day.
http://rally.campaignforliberty.com/ - icdapoakr, on 09/03/2008, -14/+53Sitting in the living room with my parents while Ron Paul was talking about ending the drug war and the benefits of marijuana was priceless. Especially sweeter since they caught me smoking weed a while back. For that, Paul, I thank you.
- DiggzDE, on 09/03/2008, -6/+43VinceNoir: It isn't the reading impaired that has a problem, it is you and your writing impairment. That or your massive impairment in intelligence.
Since when did society owe anyone a standard of living? Did you grow up during the recovering economic stages of the depression or something? Where handouts were just becoming more acceptable then? Seriously, you must be joking... I'd love to see your economic plan to help everyone out. Does it involve Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny as well?
-----
BTW: I am a suffering college student, stuck paying my own way through college and trying to live through this economic recession, you want to help me out? I deserve a standard of living! I am trying my hardest to better myself now give me money!!!
/sarcasm - drewfer, on 09/03/2008, -19/+54***** put him on the ticket please

click on convention video link in right corner of the front page and select Ron Paul Rally - cnot3, on 09/03/2008, -12/+47Watched on CSPAN-2 tonight. Dr. Paul gave a great speech, truly inspiring words for a generation that is very apathetic towards the two party system and the turmoil it brings. I'm glad that Paul is continuing to spread his message of liberty and small government. It's true what he said about revolutions, the majority can remain ignorant, a small enlightened portion of the populace can bring about change on it's own.
- inactive, on 09/03/2008, -3/+33Hmmm.. pretty good analogy, actually.
- inactive, on 09/03/2008, -26/+57The Ron Paul campaign for freedom is a fire that will never die.
I have seen the light and have been infused with passion. - D1ckFace, on 09/03/2008, -22/+52google "Campaign for Liberty" to see why this is important
- jynweythek, on 09/17/2008, -3/+31I was there!
- wonkavsn, on 09/03/2008, -11/+40That's not the point.

- DiggzDE, on 09/03/2008, -0/+24Very mature VinceNoir. Now lets hear your counter-argument again. This time, try acting like you are older then 13 years old.
- DewKnight, on 09/03/2008, -7/+32It's not about him being president. It's about our freedoms, and one of the only congressmen that actually believe in those freedoms, and that are willing to fight for those freedoms.
- inactive, on 09/03/2008, -16/+39Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty!
http://www.campaignforliberty.com/ - worldchanger, on 09/03/2008, -6/+26the Danbury Baptists were afraid that the government would make the Anglican Church the official state church. Jefferson was reassuring them that the government would not make an official state church. he was not saying that that religion and government couldn't mix - but that the government would not and could not impose a specific religion on anyone. the second amendment was not to protect the government from peoples' religions, but rather to protect peoples' religions from the government.
if you understand anything about Ron Paul's views, it's that people should be free to live and to believe as they wish, regardless of what it is that they believe. that's the core of libertarianism. he does believe, however, that elected officials have the right to vote in accordance to their beliefs or consciences, religious or otherwise. - gjvrieze, on 09/03/2008, -2/+21EXACTLY!!
- btschul, on 09/03/2008, -4/+24Do you complain when 9/10 of the top digg articles are Huffington Joke Obama dick sucking articles?
- jaymzdean, on 09/03/2008, -2/+20That's right.
You are. - Minarchian, on 09/03/2008, -3/+20Anyone who votes for McCain or Obama is either clueless to what they really represent or are burying their heads in the sand and hoping for the best.
Oh yea CHANGE!
(I know how turned on Obamaranian changelings love that word) - Mizzike, on 09/03/2008, -7/+25You obviously have never heard Ron speak.
- Netwatcher, on 09/03/2008, -4/+21The truly sad part was McCain couldn't even get that...
...half the seats were empty tonight. - btschul, on 09/03/2008, -5/+21Yeah. We still care about personal freedom, too.
- numb, on 09/03/2008, -2/+18No. The rally wasn't about this election. It was about going forward, and giving Democrats, Republicans, and third party voters that respect the Constitution a chance to get together.
- aadsfasdf, on 09/03/2008, -0/+15You dismiss RP just because of a label?
- sheeplescareme, on 09/03/2008, -0/+15i'm an atheist as well as a strong rp supporter-strong enough that i was there. i can support him because his religious beliefs don't affect me because they don't shape his policy. he identifies personally with the framers who were religious but he's read the constitution and likes it as much as i do. while on a personal level, he may think prayers should be allowed in schools, but he would never vote for a resolution in favor of it because the constitution doesn't allow for it.
- newguy96, on 09/03/2008, -1/+16how the hell can you NOT love Ron Paul? Hes so awsome!
- inactive, on 09/03/2008, -1/+15ALL of the speakers were awesome and the entertainment was top notch. No protesters and all had a good time.
To all of the Ron Paul detractors, if he does not matter why do you spend so much time chasing Ron Paul threads?
LMAO! - numb, on 09/03/2008, -1/+15I don't think it's fair to leave out the Democrat Ron Paul supporters that are refusing to vote for Obama. They deserve some thanks too. Also anyone else that refuses to vote for the two big-government candidates, thank you for doing your part.
I'm glad there are so many people starting to realize that voting for the same two parties regardless of their behavior is what has allowed them to perpetuate their behavior so long. - DesignNerd, on 09/03/2008, -2/+16I am a native Minnesotan, and I am very sad I cannot be there. I'll have my own little convention here at work in DC.
Go Ron! - MasterGrief, on 09/03/2008, -1/+15I don't think he was.
- DewKnight, on 09/03/2008, -7/+21states rights is how our country was set up
- btschul, on 09/03/2008, -2/+16That was how many of his supporters could get off work and travel to the convention. If you took 30 seconds to do some research, you would see that the Campaign for Liberty has close to 100,000 supporters.
- Uiaccsk, on 09/03/2008, -6/+20whats so ***** cloudy or crazy about believing in an america that has returned to a respectable, prosperous place? or believing the only thing that can return us there is the original document this great place was founded on in the first place?
not one man, not obama nor mccain nor paul. not a democrat or republican controlled congress or a supreme court that happens to agree with you. the constitution is where this nation started, and to where it must return. - mrwells, on 09/03/2008, -0/+13No *****! Hey everybody, VinceNoir is offering to take care of you! Work?? HELL NO!! Not at Vince's house! You can do anything you want and EXPECT ***** from him. Lets all say ***** it to our day jobs and let Vince feed and cloth us. (he'll even wipe your ass!)
Vince, I'll see you later, is it ok if I bring a few million of my friends? - Phoenyx, on 09/03/2008, -4/+17message > the man
- dreid1987, on 09/03/2008, -0/+12He would probably favor elimination of federal restrictions on all of those.
Ron Paul loves freedom! - Minarchian, on 09/03/2008, -2/+14What kind of nimrod would vote for a president, or even a council member, based on whether they believe in evolution or not?
You? - OgonGuitarist, on 09/03/2008, -5/+17"Now it's all, "mine, mine, mine! Go get your own"! ***** worthless country full of crybaby toddlers who think they deserve their overinflated salaries."
And that's the fault of free-market libertarians? Blame consumer culture, bad parents, and rampant narcissism. How do you think responsibility is bred? By giving people a chance to be responsible.
"...society owes them a standard baseline of living."
Maybe your society does, but I don't remember signing a contract with my government guaranteeing a baseline of living. I'd prefer to keep things simple. Government should protect life, law, and property. That's about it. However, I'm all for legislating equality and equal competition. If we actually had a free-market economy, every company and corporation would be competing to bring you, the consumer, the best service for the best price. The invisible hand is there to make competition work for the consumer, not to give you a hand job. A flourishing private sector, if fair and free, would ensure a baseline of living. You support what this country used to be. And in fact, it used to be the land of minimal government, maximum liberty, and laissez-faire. Returning to laissez-faire is not going to work, but neither is ballooning government and bureaucracy. - kaelyiesta, on 09/03/2008, -1/+13Prove that ron paul fans are the ones digging you down.
Oh, and what I've come to understand about the Constitution is that government has no interference with religion. Not quite the same as separation. For instance, it seems that Constitutionally, prayer in school is acceptable. Enforcing prayer in school is not.
Correct me if I've misinterpreted what I've read. -
