- neocognitism, on 03/02/2008, -41/+102Big Bad Ahmadinejad, who has never said what they say he said, now appears totally vindicated because Iran never had the nuke info they say they had. The laptop came second-hand from a tiny terrorist group the MEK to boot!
- mutagenesis, on 03/02/2008, -8/+52WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT. Are you telling me that the Bush administration expects us to believe that Iran would put secret incriminating documents that increase the chance of getting the heck bombed out of it by the US on a LAPTOP??!!!!! The same laptop that should be expected to being vulnerable to be stolen? As in a country would put it's secrets on a non-secure computer that would probably prevent it from being stolen if it were just a rather large tower? As in Iran needs to work on this project using the local Starbucks WiFi?
GTFO. The 'information' from this administration has gone from plain deceitful to f*cking retarded. - DeusNova, on 03/02/2008, -15/+59 Israel might as well become the 51st state since we give them a ***** load of money. -__-
- bradcrc, on 03/02/2008, -28/+72Every day Israel proves again that it won't stop until it destroy's the planet and gets the US to blindly follow them.
- Barbosa, on 03/02/2008, -12/+45What a twisted web we weave...
- avengingturnip, on 03/02/2008, -10/+40Forged Niger Uranium documents, anybody?
- Barbosa, on 03/02/2008, -14/+42I read this with my mouth wide open in astonishment to be honest. If the US and Israel are this diabolical I think we are all *****. If the US govt knew about this and used it as a pretext to move toward war and if Israel planted evidence in this way, I have totally underestimated the lengths both nations were willing to go. This is really bad and I hope it isn't true because this is some twisted *****.
- inactive, on 03/02/2008, -7/+34as requested http://digg.com/world_news/US_evidence_shows_no_ev ...
- inactive, on 03/02/2008, -15/+39yep. El Baradei, Chief of IAEA said that this "evidence" that was presented by US can not be used as evidence. there was an article about it on worldtribune.com. After that, Ahmadinejad requested US to apologize and pay iran compensation. I wonder if Iran is going to be persistent about it. They do have a right to be upset, because of countless economic damages we've caused them.
- SecularG, on 03/02/2008, -12/+36Surprised the Israelis haven't marked this article as being possibly inaccurate :/
- inactive, on 03/02/2008, -19/+38This happens:

Then the palestinians fight back, and in turn our biased media covers it like this:
http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/9895/cnnmarch12 ... - jjason1985, on 03/02/2008, -7/+25Markadmin, you fail at life.
- pintomp3, on 03/02/2008, -7/+24you spoke too soon.
- jjason1985, on 03/02/2008, -16/+33We need to stop Israel from having Nukes. They manipulate and deceive, they violate human rights, they illegally occupy, they murder, maim and torture. Lets take back all our fancy equipment and weapons and let the world deal with Israel.
- Barbosa, on 03/02/2008, -7/+24I'm having trouble wrapping my head around this. I don't think of myself as naive, but this article is pretty shocking. I don't want to believe that our government (even if mainly just political appointees) is this ***** corrupt. I will definitely be looking for more info on this.
- neocognitism, on 03/02/2008, -7/+23Of course more information is needed, but in all probability that information will never come. Think about it, if Bush won't even provide the evidence for examination by the defense (Iran), and there is no rational reason why they won't given the gravity of the claim, then concluding they have something to hide is very reasonable. Further, did you know that MEK is almost certainly one of the groups our CIA is directly funding?
If I were Bush, and I were Olmert, this is exactly what I would do. For them, it's just not a question of ethics, it's a question of accomplishing policy goals using whatever assets on hand. Our government has done it countless times, just in the last 50 years. - inactive, on 03/02/2008, -5/+21So if this is true, does that mean we should bomb Israel?
Hypocrisy is annoying. - kojaa, on 03/02/2008, -18/+33why is israel the only country in the middle east allowed to have nuclear weapons?
- BluesFan, on 03/02/2008, -8/+23Israel is trying to trick America into attacking Iran so they don't have to do it themselves.Bush would be happy to do it anyway.
- kazamx, on 03/02/2008, -11/+26Why is this getting marked down? Everyone who has taken the time to go back to the original documents and see what was said knows that Challenger43 is 100% correct.
- McReynolds, on 03/02/2008, -3/+17Nuke technology document evidence on a seized laptop implicating a rogue government. And I thought the movie makers deserved credit for thinking up these things.
- tgc1, on 03/02/2008, -7/+21You know, at this point i'm starting to hope Iran does have a nuclear program. Why you ask? Well in my view, every country has a right to develop the means to protect itself. So long as they don't go ahead and use them on any other country. Granted, no country since the US has used nuclear weapons on any other country. I doubt it would happen (see M.A.D. for reference why). But it provides a means of assuring that they are not invaded and further spiral the rest of the world into economic collapse. That's all we need, is some dumbass country to try and go invade them.
Aside from that, I'm really getting tired of hearing about this *****. It is a blatant attempt to launch a scapegoat to justify an attack. NO MORE WAR for ***** sakes. - neocognitism, on 03/02/2008, -8/+21No, they're enriching uranium to power their nuclear reactors for domestic energy consumption, which allows them to sell nearly all their oil. You may want to check the price of oil, but it's the highest ever right now, and only headed up. That's called good economic sense and stability for the whole country.
Israel, on the other hand, won't even admit to having their illegal nuclear arsenal, and they are so crazy they actually wheeled them out during the '06 war. - inactive, on 03/02/2008, -11/+24"Warning: The Content in this Article May be Inaccurate"
Digg should just Pre-tag every article about Israel with this header and save the megaphone crowd the trouble. - inactive, on 03/02/2008, -9/+22yeah, why would US not want to send copies for verification to the people they accuse as creators of the original?
- inactive, on 03/02/2008, -10/+23Are people so naive to actually think this ***** in the middle east is about the Republican/Bush administration, instead of merely the natural manifestation of AIPAC's lobbying efforts? America does Israel's dirty work, and we pay the price in lives and tax money, all because they fund both parties.
- Groovemaster, on 03/02/2008, -7/+19You have to factor in the gullibility level of the average American (which is typically somewhere between "astonishingly gullible" and "***** gullible")
Why would the pro ***** in the Bush administration need to make up a more convincing story when they don't need to?
Most Americans are trained to believe what they're told and not even consider that they have the ability to question. - makkaveli19, on 03/02/2008, -4/+16you are a blind troll, nothing you say matters
- InetRoadkill, on 03/02/2008, -2/+14This is not surprising. The MEK is a terrorist group that is being supported by Cheney's office in an effort to destabilize the Iranian govt. This partnership was revealed in 2005.
- ICanRead, on 03/02/2008, -5/+17It's not practice anymore.
We straight out deceive. - inactive, on 03/02/2008, -9/+20Note that yonoz doesn't really deny it, he merely deflects it. Neocognitism is correct. I too posted comments against what yonoz and his alter egos posted, and with a few minutes someone systematically went through all my recent comments under all topics and dugg them down. And hit Neocog the same way AS I watched one night. Who has motive? The ones in this little group of Zionist supporters trying to digg the truth down. You can't suppress the truth forever.
- ZenMojo, on 03/02/2008, -2/+13And this is why Bush's base is homeschooled high school dropouts who don't believe in evolution and are waiting for the endtimes.
- octurian, on 03/02/2008, -11/+22Careful, questions such as this will label you a Pro-Iranian Pro-Terrorist Anti-Semite. Could earn yourself a ticket to Gitmo with such obviously anti-American propaganda as this!
- txchica, on 03/02/2008, -17/+27I don't think we should get ahead of ourselves, this is still just speculation and should be treated as such until we have solid evidence.
- neocognitism, on 03/02/2008, -16/+26It's getting marked down because "pro-Israel" extremist types like yonoz and foopirata don't just mark down a comment they disagree with. They go systematically through *an entire submission* and mark down every single comment not by them or their troupe. And if they really don't like you, they'll go through and mark down all your comments in all your stories, including all the totally unrelated ones. I know because I'm currently one of their targets. It's extremely sociopathic and childish behavior, but it's what their group does as policy. And then they get offended when people observe that groups like AIPAC and GIYUS.ORG behave similarly. Just best to let it slide and not engage them, their comments are rarely meant to do anything other than derail and stifle real discussion.
- ICanRead, on 03/02/2008, -10/+20Well I am going to follow Cheney's advice. If there is the slightest chance it's true we should all act and react as if it were...
Humans suck.. :) - neocognitism, on 03/02/2008, -5/+15Which means exactly jack *****, and if anything only provides Israel a vehicle to justify falsified intelligence. The real question is why did Israel use an Iranian front group, and how should they be held accountable for that?
Christ you are just the lamest Israeli government sycophant I've ever heard. Go back to eating popcorn and watching Palestinians getting blown away on TV. - ZenMojo, on 03/02/2008, -10/+191) Anti-Israel isn't Anti-Semitic. Nor is Anti-Zionism. While it's inaccurate to refer to the IDF and Israeli leadership as "Israel," it doesn't stop Americans from talking ***** about Iran and Syria as if their people are their leadership. Nor is hatred of America a hatred of Americans.
2) I think #1 speaks for itself. - HenvY, on 03/02/2008, -2/+11You mean tangled?
- Deeh, on 03/02/2008, -0/+9***** war.
- ICanRead, on 03/02/2008, -2/+10Who made you the Jew decider, lol?
I know plenty of Jews who consider it a shared background, end of story. Many Muslims and Christians like that too. Put them all in a room and shake it up and they usually are all friends or cordial. - motters, on 03/02/2008, -3/+11Sounds like more anti-Iranian sabre rattling. The bottom line underneath all of this is that Iran has some of the world's biggest known oil reserves. All this stuff about WMD and so on is really just garnish for media consumption.
- elipabst, on 03/02/2008, -2/+10We've had removable disks with nuclear secrets disappeared from our own nuclear labs at Los Alamos several times in the last 10 years. Plus I don't think it's a stretch that someone working at multiple sites would have there data on a laptop.
http://www.computerworld.com/securitytopics/securi ... - inactive, on 03/02/2008, -5/+13The MEK are actually worse than the ayatollah regime. They are a creepy totalitarian cult-like group.
- neko6, on 03/02/2008, -2/+9KGB - "in Judaism, those that are secular are not recognized as Jews. just being born from Jewish blood does not make you a Jew. " - This is an anti-truth. According to Judaism, being born from a Jewish mother you will remain a Jew forever - even if you're Atheist or even convert to Christian, Islam or Wikka.
- inactive, on 03/02/2008, -8/+15that's why FSB rules in Russia and not the government politicians :) FSB is an invisible state within the state. they figured - smart people should rule the country - not selfish and hungry for money politicians. they thought that since they know all the secrets and more than anybody on any subject, why weren't they that ruled the country.
- inactive, on 03/02/2008, -6/+13this thing is a mafia. read this too http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2007/06/25/0706 ... you'll be pulling your hair out.
- ZenMojo, on 03/02/2008, -2/+8Fox News had a better headline: "Israeli-Palestinian violence leaves 46 dead."
- neocognitism, on 03/02/2008, -8/+14Did you read the article? The title is totally accurate.
- EarlOfLade, on 03/02/2008, -1/+7I only have sympathy for the truth, no matter what it is!
