- PuterPrsn, on 02/25/2009, -0/+12Open "in principal"?? What the heck does that mean?
- Landthatilove, on 02/25/2009, -1/+11Send 'em to them.
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -1/+8Spain does have generations of torture experience and plenty of dark dank castles.
- mythicflux, on 02/25/2009, -0/+7Mean they aren't saying yes, but in general they would be willing to do it. It's international code to mean "Let's talk about it and see"
- SiliconRain, on 02/25/2009, -1/+7Queue a bunch of ignorant Americans pushing the old 'Europe is being taken over by Islam' ***** in 3...2...1...
- Landthatilove, on 02/25/2009, -1/+6They could give them all jobs working on Spains rail system. ;-D
- w3ber, on 02/25/2009, -1/+6Europe is being taken over by Islam!!!!!!
- species, on 02/25/2009, -0/+3Exactly, it's the same thing with how now the Obama administration says that they agree with the Bush administration that prisoners in Afghanistan have no rights. Here's to change we can believe in. *eyeroll*
- SkippyDoorknob, on 02/25/2009, -0/+2MOOPS!
- species, on 02/25/2009, -0/+2No it just means it will happen elsewhere. Closing Guantanamo is nothing more than a political stunt by Obama.
- minorthreat, on 02/25/2009, -0/+2um... Other countries looked at the U.S. in 2002 like we do the ***** ringing the bell outside of wal-mart during the holidays...
Sure I'll throw in some change and I'm for helping those out in need, but you can kiss my ass if you think I'm going to put in a years salary..
Really, it's not like they talked us into or they even encouraged invading a third world country that had nothing to do with 9/11. - seanstuart, on 02/25/2009, -1/+3The Inquisition, here we go!
The Inquisition, what a show!
We know you're wishin' that'd we go awaaaay!
But The Inquisition is here to staaaaaaaay! - tehsagemaster, on 02/26/2009, -0/+1Legalizing isn't going to happen. We have too many government officials and major church leaders working with the cartels. Black market money is way more profitable to a few small groups than sharing that money with everyone in the government from a tax.
I'm just talkin crap, but this makes sense to me if it is true or close to it. - modal, on 02/25/2009, -1/+2What about the next stimulus bill? Why doesn't congress just release these guys and give them citizenship and a monthly check so they can live out the American Dream?
- Bisquick, on 02/25/2009, -3/+4Closing Gitmo serves no purpose if you just move the prisoners elsewhere. It's pretty obvious at this point that the push to get rid of the Guantanamo Bay facility was a publicity stunt, not an affirmation of any official policy.
- inactive, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1Have fun Spain!
- phxsuns32, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1Count the Money
"It's Count de MONET!" - tehsagemaster, on 02/26/2009, -0/+1Legalizing isn't going to happen. We have too many FED government officials and major church leaders working with the cartels. Black market money is way more profitable to a few small groups than sharing that money with everyone in the government from a tax.
The run down of the system:
US demand drug
Cartel supply
US citizen goes to jail
US citizen loses money from buying drug and having to pay the justice system
Normal US citizen pay tax to blindly fight cartels
Cartel laughs because they still get their money
Certain US FED government officials and others laugh because they just screwed millions of people twice
I'm just talkin crap, but this makes sense to me if it is true or close to it. - Nintendesert, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1Because it is Spain's fault and not the people that carried out the terrorism.
- CaptainNoPants, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1"the ***** ringing the bell outside of wal-mart during the holidays..."
Santa? - Samuraizero, on 02/25/2009, -0/+1You mean right after our Civil War, at 1944? Well, yeah, we had that problem with a fascist dictature during ***** 40 years. And hey, thanks for all the help to get out of it...
- thesonofdarwin, on 02/25/2009, -1/+2This is our fabricated war. It's not our allies' responsibility to placate our delusions when it costs them money and lives. Next time make sure we have a solid base for action so we don't embarrass not only ourselves but our allies on the global scale.
- Demand911Truth, on 02/26/2009, -0/+1I'm sure they've cleaned up their act since the Inquisition.
- greenwald, on 02/26/2009, -0/+1Spain asks for Moor
- szanpan, on 02/25/2009, -1/+1i hope it will be closed asap.
- calebian, on 02/25/2009, -1/+1Ive seen Pans Labyrinth and lets just say the Spanish weren't that friendly to their prisoners
- phxsuns32, on 02/25/2009, -1/+1Good thing Spain has never had any issues with Islamic terrorists attacking any trains or anything because of their foreign policy decisions.
- JROXZ, on 02/25/2009, -1/+1Oh the irony... Spain gets rid of the Moors in and here they come right back...
- Eslamicolt3, on 02/25/2009, -1/+1It means in reality they aren't stupid enough to take in the world's prisoners.
- modal, on 02/25/2009, -1/+1All wars are fabricated.
- mrtymcfly, on 02/25/2009, -2/+1or maybe the prisoners at guantanamo are dangerous and cannot simply be let go. morons.
- hitkaiser, on 02/25/2009, -2/+1Being labelled as a moor (moro) in Spain is so 10 years ago. Now us brown people are all labeled as Latinos or "Sudakas" as the more endearing term (its like "*****").
Get with the times. - Dohko_Xar, on 02/25/2009, -3/+2Closing Guantanamo means the end of prisoners getting tortured and breaking human rights laws
- these3remain, on 02/25/2009, -11/+8In fact, send'em to every " ally" who pulled out of Iraq and left the US the last one standing.
I'm sure Spain is "open" as long as the right amount of "perks", i.e., US funding, accompanies them. Not to mention there is a large enough muslim population in Spain to launch their own terror cell with that money. - havok92, on 02/25/2009, -7/+0I wish I could go to Guantanamo Bay and be sodomized..my step-dad won't do it to me anymore..
