Soldiers and Police LOOTING Tornado Ravaged City!!!

cnn.com — Four soldiers and a reserve police officer were arrested Sunday on suspicion of looting cigarettes and alcohol from a store in this tornado-ravaged town, state officials said. WTF?!!!

      My God. That has to be one of the most naïve statements I have heard in a long time.
      (BTW, I agree that the statement SHOULD be true... And hopefully is true in many cases... But it simply is NOT true far too often. )

      Cops and Troops are just like any other people (because thats exactly what they are), there are always some bad ones. The fact is the US has some of the best cops and troops in the world, and while our system isnt perfect its far from corrupt.

      Wanna see what corrupt cops are really like? Take a trip south of the border, that will shatter your little dream world real fast. You will get a crash course in what corruption really is, as oppsed to just a few bad apples.

I live in a country where the people who choose to become police are the people who want to benefit the community, rather than the power-hungry ones, and they are respected for it, not because they hold the power to arrest you. Yes, I truly believe that if we had a national crisis, our police would be the last ones to go looting.

      There's always exceptions, of course.
