Size 16 Chloe unveils a curvy look in first bikini shoot
dailymail.co.uk — Posing confidently poolside in the brief white gem-embossed Miss England bikini which she'll wear in the pageant in July, Chloe appears completely lacking in self-consciousness.

- Abomonog, on 04/04/2008, -19/+9To lose about 50 pounds. She'd be looking pretty hot of she would just drop a decimal point off that dress size.
- StrangeFamous, on 04/04/2008, -7/+7Size 1.6, eh? So you like your women imaciated?
- GiggleStick, on 04/04/2008, -5/+7Well, there's rounding. So size 2, which is fine, if you're 5 ft 0 in. But I don't want to get "imbroiled" in that battle with you. I have too much "impathy" for my fellow digg members. Besides, it would be a bit "emmature" to continue "imphasizing" my point.

- Wartyboskfapped, on 04/04/2008, -17/+33This is not obesity.
- cotaskmemalloc, on 04/04/2008, -17/+10What is it, then? I think most doctors would disagree with you.
- wisam, on 04/04/2008, -4/+9Actually she's overweighted but not obese. There's a difference. It has to do with body fat percentage.
- EtherGnat, on 04/04/2008, -2/+7She's 5'10" and 176 pounds. Using a simple body mass index calculator gives her a BMI of 25.3. Normal weight is considered from 18.5 to 24.9. Overweight goes from 25 to 29.9, and obesity starts above that. She is slightly overweight. She's certainly not standard beauty contest material and she is slightly overweight, but she's not obese.
- StrangeFamous, on 04/04/2008, -9/+18This woman looks to be healthy, she simply isn't as skinny as the models you normally see wearing tiaras. She would be categorized in the upper ranges of "average". At the most, she would be in the lower ranges of "overweight". "Obese" is a completely separate category, which involves health problems and mobility issues arising from excess weight. This woman exercises and most likely has a healthy diet.
Unfortunately, most Digg males get their unrealistic standards of beauty from magazines and advertising, so they expect all women to be skinny.- niczar, on 04/04/2008, -10/+5She looks very fat. She's not merely "non skinny", she is fat, period. Nice face, but fat hips. Fat. Fat fat fat. She's had to much spam. Spam spam spam. Fat.
- cotaskmemalloc, on 04/04/2008, -17/+10What is it, then? I think most doctors would disagree with you.

- jemka, on 04/04/2008, -5/+6This makes no ***** sense.
- unreg, on 04/04/2008, -16/+21You stupidity is amazing. This women, while not svelte (that's a big word, go Google it) is hardly obese. People can be bigger or heavier than average for their height but that doesn't mean they are obese. Take somebody like Arnold. I'm sure he tips the scales much more than an average person his height, I wouldn't call that obese.
According to the "chart", I'm obese yet I have a 48" checst and a 36" waist, commute by bicycle to work everyday (40+ miles round trip) and according to my last doctors visit was in perfect health including excellent cholesterol levels and blood pressure.
More importantly, this women has confidence, which is what really counts out there among the ignorant.- GiggleStick, on 04/04/2008, -5/+8I tried to google it, but www.google.com is like 12 letters which is much bigger than the 6 letters in svelte, and I couldn't handle it. It's not as big as checst though. Perhaps it's more of a loan-word, or less-commonly-used-outside-of-the-North-East word, rather than a big word.

- matrixbandit, on 04/04/2008, -12/+18Ew.. yea.. you know what I think is really disgusting? That our society finds it perfectly acceptable to ridicule and relegate people who don't live up to popular physical expectations. The article says she weighs 12st 8lb (176lbs) and is 5 foot 10 inches tall. I'm only 5 foot 6.5 inches and I weigh 165 and no one has ever in my life called me fat (and no I'm not very muscular either)
I wonder if this weren't about a competition that has classically been based solely on physical appearance if you people would find it so acceptable to make such disparaging comments. This girl is clearly not obese and IMHO has quite a leg up (a long leg at that lol) on most women, despite her appearance not lending itself to the cover of Vogue.- CedEx, on 04/04/2008, -9/+7There's always a first time... you fatty.
- Testiculese, on 04/04/2008, -5/+12It's perfectly acceptable because she made herself fat. She IS fat. A female at 175lbs at 5'10 is FAT. Her calves are huge, her thighs are bulky, and neither of them have any definition to them. Her ass is wider than her shoulders. Her whole body is way out of proportion to her head. You can see the cottage cheese behind and under her boobs and on her stomach. A folding layer above her chest. A double chin.
There's a difference between a big girl and a fat girl. I've known big girls who weren't fat. One, actually, the rest were fat.
If this competition weren't about the body, then of course there would be no comments. She would be clothed. She wouldn't be drawing attention to her fatness, and trying to say that she represents the norm. She doesn't look normal at all. She looks fat, out of shape, and ungainly. I can't tell if she's pretty but cause she has excessive chin and fat cheeks.
I'm glad I don't live anywhere where she "has quite a leg up ... on most women". I'd move.

- bryano, on 04/04/2008, -67/+316OH FOR ***** SAKES.
Lets just come out and admit it: she's not curvy, full-bodied, or whatever politically correct term you want to assign to her. She's FAT. I genuninely feel sorry that she has to go through all this embarassment in front of so many people.- Chickenzness, on 04/04/2008, -20/+16I feel sorry for the viewers... WHAT HAS BEEN SEEN... Cannot be un-seen.
- o6uoq, on 04/04/2008, -11/+6Amen.
- Mysk, on 04/04/2008, -12/+6I was with you until you said that you felt sorry for her. No one is putting a gun to her head. Fat girl is fat, and maybe delirious. She's not winning no Miss England contest.
- zongamin, on 04/04/2008, -3/+2Delirious? Did you mean 'deluded'? HAHAHA!!
- jeuhrn, on 04/04/2008, -32/+41Her hips are wider than her waist. Her breasts extend farther than her gut. She doesn't have much of an extra chin, and if you look at her hands you can see that there's no extra fat on them. Her arms aren't flabby and she looks healthy.
All in all she doesn't carry any trait of a "fat" or "obese" person. (Protip: STFU)- j1ggy, on 04/04/2008, -12/+28She looks like an average person to me.
- chewbie, on 04/04/2008, -13/+13american?

- LokitheComplex, on 04/04/2008, -0/+3So not a model then? Has she met the other contestants?
- tehknotte, on 04/05/2008, -1/+1are you kidding? where do you live?
- j1ggy, on 04/05/2008, -1/+1Canada. The reason is seems so shocking is because average people don't normally dress like that. All the power to her.
- tehknotte, on 04/05/2008, -1/+1I live in Canada too and I wouldn't say that's an average person.
- fluxion, on 04/04/2008, -4/+14yah, i see what you're trying to do...and i respect that.
but there's no fine science about being fat...she's obviously a tad over curvy. mostly the legs.
she's cute though, with clothes on she probably looks fairly attractive- tyywebb, on 04/04/2008, -9/+5The sad thing is if she would get off her ass and exercise she'd actually be pretty good looking.
- theodenking, on 04/04/2008, -3/+6Apart from all the, you know, fat.
- LokitheComplex, on 04/04/2008, -2/+3She is fat and she's only 17 that means she's gaining fast. She's eating too much for all that apparent exercise she does. Even if it is genetics her diet is not working for her. If she carries on like this in 10 years she will be obese. We're judging because we're being invited by her to judge.
- j1ggy, on 04/04/2008, -12/+28She looks like an average person to me.
- StrangeFamous, on 04/04/2008, -13/+38I'm sorry to break it to you, but she doesn't look the least bit embarrassed to be on camera. She's pursuing a modeling career, for christ's sake! She's proud of who she is, and has a healthy attitude about herself. Regardless of her weight or appearance, the fact that she's comfortable in her own skin is a miracle nowadays. She should be supported, not ridiculed.
- phunkytech, on 04/04/2008, -3/+7I agree 100%
- XDingoX83, on 04/04/2008, -11/+4No shes fat. Not by American standards but shes a fatty, fat, mcfat. fat.
- LokitheComplex, on 04/04/2008, -3/+6Ridicule is one thing but she is asking us to judge her. She wants to make money essentially as fantasy of sex and beauty. And most people would judge her as overweight. I'm worried that she is overweight at 17. Her exercise and diet is clearly not working for her genetics. If she carries on gaining weight as people generally do as they age she will be obese in a few years.
- Testiculese, on 04/04/2008, -1/+9Delusional is what she is. Most people aren't embarrassed to be Christian either. At 17 she should not look anywhere NEAR like that. I thought she was in her late 30's.
She should be supported in losing weight, not encouraged to be fat.
- SebG, on 04/04/2008, -4/+2I agree with your comment
- unreg, on 04/04/2008, -5/+15I don't think she give a ***** what we think. Wish we could all have that level of self confidence.
- Testiculese, on 04/04/2008, -2/+8Or that level of delusion.
- Th3Hamburgler, on 04/04/2008, -27/+56The Daily Mail raped my internets.
- chrisgaijiin, on 04/04/2008, -37/+124A good bit of self-consciousness would make her realise that she needs to go on a diet and take more exercise. Self-confidence shouldn't replace an interest in your own health
- mothermaggie, on 04/04/2008, -8/+21Hello? Did you actually read the article, or did you just look at the pic. She DOES exercise.
- Abomonog, on 04/04/2008, -9/+11But not enough. It would be one thing if there were muscle under that fat. But there is none. Whatever exercise she is getting is having absolutely no effect.
- StrangeFamous, on 04/04/2008, -5/+3You have absolutely no idea whether that's true or not. If anything, her body type is at her ideal range. She's not obese, and my guess is that she doesn't have any serious health issues related to her weight. She's healthy and happy with herself.
- unreg, on 04/04/2008, -1/+3I exercise everyday (40+ mile ride on the bike to work). I eat a small breakfast (oatmeal/milk) and lunch (sandwich, chips). I don't overindulge at dinner. No snacking, no sugary sodas. My net calories per day is something like +800. Yet according to the charts I'm obese. It doesn't go up, it doesn't go down.
- noahhoward, on 04/04/2008, -3/+8Oh ***** off you retarded piece of *****. I so tired of you god damned idiots who think size is the method of determining health. I'm 'obese' but I guarantee I can run you down and beat the living ***** out of you without breaking a sweat.
- cotaskmemalloc, on 04/04/2008, -4/+9I call ***** on that. A person who claims 'I eat well, I exercise regularly – I jog, swim, and work out with weights', as she does, does not look like that unless she's doing the bare minimum. I'm sorry, but unless she has some genetic problem, she is overweight and does NOT exercise nearly enough. I think the point most people are trying to make on here is that whether or not you find her attractive, she is not healthy.
- LacY, on 04/04/2008, -0/+6While I kinda agree with you that if she were to eat really well and work out often, she'd be smaller than she is now (though looking at her frame, I doubt she'd ever be "skinny" looking), I would like to point out that there are *lots* of size 0 girls out there who never exercise and eat like pigs, while there are people who have to work damn hard & follow a strict diet to maintain a size 12 (which to you I'm sure is overweight).
- vtron, on 04/04/2008, -8/+1Size 12 is fat
- Krescentia, on 04/04/2008, -3/+4 You are obviously not very educated on this subject. One can eat and exercise regularly and not have a media-perfect image. She is in her ideal weight range. Paper-thin isn't healthy either, your judging attractiveness, not health. :P
- cotaskmemalloc, on 04/04/2008, -5/+1No, I am very well educated on this subject.
And yes, I agree with you that paper-thin isn't healthy either. But you cannot seriously claim that that girl's body fat percentage is in a healthy range. Imagine her cholesterol level. Imagine her blood pressure. Yes, one can eat and exercise regularly and not have a media-perfect image, and of course that can be attributed to things like metabolism or genetic predisposition, but that is simply not the case here. She is overweight and could easily loose a good deal of that weight. End of story. - Pthalio, on 04/04/2008, -1/+1@cotaskmemalloc
Not everyone who is overweight has a high cholesterol level or high blood pressue. You have no idea of her heath status or what her excercise regimine and diet are like. I hope you always have the ability to judge someone's weight issues and continue to have none of your own. Weight is not a simple equation of food + excercise.
- cotaskmemalloc, on 04/04/2008, -5/+1No, I am very well educated on this subject.

- Murdats, on 04/04/2008, -13/+19actually she appears to be within a healthy weight range.
skinny is unhealthy, and anything inclusive of 'normal' and 'overweight' is healthy, and some studies have even shown that people in the 'overweight' category may even be healthier.
note that the category names healthy and overweight were influenced by cultural ideals, however look at the Eskimos, they tend to be 'overweight' while being entirely healthy.- jamesdew, on 04/04/2008, -8/+11she has a bmi over 26, this is classed as unhealthy
- Murdats, on 04/04/2008, -2/+8according to this
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e9 ...
she is between normal and overweight which is fine.- jamesdew, on 04/04/2008, -8/+1ye Ijust googled it seem to be various sources quoting different heights and weights putting her BMI between 24 and 26. something.
Anyway, I dont believe it. She's looks quite fat and I think she weighs more than 176 pounds if she is in fact as tall as she says she is. - vtron, on 04/04/2008, -6/+3BMI is useless. Check her % body fat. That will actually tell you how fat this fatty pig fatty is.
- Murdats, on 04/04/2008, -0/+2BMI is innacurate, not useless, and we will use BMI till you run off and get us her %body fat
- jamesdew, on 04/04/2008, -8/+1ye Ijust googled it seem to be various sources quoting different heights and weights putting her BMI between 24 and 26. something.
- mikepictor, on 04/04/2008, -0/+6bmi is the most broken and useless system of health measurement in existence. It is meaningless, especially with people above or below average height levels. I am 6'6", I am not sure it's possible for me to achieve "healthy" bmi, I would look emaciated.
- Murdats, on 04/04/2008, -2/+8according to this
- Murdats, on 04/04/2008, -0/+3I would like to point out that I dont find her attractive though, but due to her appearance ignoring weight (face and whatnot), not her weight
- cotaskmemalloc, on 04/04/2008, -4/+5"actually she appears to be within a healthy weight range"
And thats how I can tell you have absolutely no medical background whatsoever.
- jamesdew, on 04/04/2008, -8/+11she has a bmi over 26, this is classed as unhealthy
- LadyDub, on 04/04/2008, -6/+20I am exactly her height and I used to be her size. The first article on her a few weeks ago said she weighed 176. That is BS. She is well over 200 at 5'10. And no, it is NOT healthy. I said this the first time- I guarantee she gets winded going up stairs and is probably on her way to serious cardiovascular problems and even more likely diabetes. I'm not being mean, I'm speaking from personal experience.
And I don't care how personally confident you are- put on a one piece. It just isn't appropriate when there are so many flattering swimsuit options out there.- mikepictor, on 04/04/2008, -5/+5You guarantee she gets winded do you? You are guessing, and you know it. For all you know she can climb 10 flights without sweating, and yes there are people that size that can do that easy.
I have no idea personally...maybe she does get winded, but you don't know whether she does or not. - groberts1980, on 04/04/2008, -7/+2Dude her thighs are over 200lbs.
- jrock08, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1Actually, 12st 8lb *is* 176 lbs. If that is unhealthy then the average male(5' 9.5'', 175 lbs) is also unhealthy.
- LadyDub, on 04/04/2008, -1/+1I'm saying that 176 isn't true. I don't see how I could be the same size and height, but 30 pounds heavier. And men have more lean mucle mass which weighs more which is why a male @ that height and weight is healthy.
- mikepictor, on 04/04/2008, -5/+5You guarantee she gets winded do you? You are guessing, and you know it. For all you know she can climb 10 flights without sweating, and yes there are people that size that can do that easy.
- Krescentia, on 04/04/2008, -7/+10Theres nothing wrong with her weight, stop being such a ***** moron, blinded by media - where even a size 2 is too fat.
At least she has confidence and isn't letting media and men control her image.
Also, read the damn article. - SebG, on 04/04/2008, -6/+1Good comment
- mothermaggie, on 04/04/2008, -8/+21Hello? Did you actually read the article, or did you just look at the pic. She DOES exercise.

- DDayDawg, on 04/04/2008, -3/+11I'd definitely hit that. You guys know you would do it, you just want to look cool on the internets.
- Smills, on 04/05/2008, -0/+1Actually, no, I wouldn't. Where I live (a country town in Australia) there are very few fat chicks. She would easily be one of the fattest you would see down at the beach. That is just a complete turn-off.
- ralphodog, on 04/04/2008, -9/+2Surprise, surprise, diggers have very low standards. I'd probably hit that too if I was a cretin that sat around all day behind my computer.
- gummih, on 04/04/2008, -0/+5I'll take that as a 'yes' then.
- BruceDude, on 04/04/2008, -8/+4...with a refrigerator.
- Tr33fiddy, on 04/04/2008, -21/+16Hmm. I'd still rather not, face or body.
- starkruzr, on 04/04/2008, -4/+2I disagree. Take 20 lbs off her and we're having a conversation.
- Coy0te, on 04/04/2008, -25/+152While I think it's great we promote realistic images of women in the media there's no denying that she is overweight (ie: not of good health).
- BobMysterioso, on 04/04/2008, -3/+26I agree with that entirely. Her body shape does not allow her to become a size 0, it would never happen. That said, a size 10-12 would be doable. She would still be a plus size model. She is overweight, you can tell by the excess weight in her face. Her BMI is way out of line.
- laughandsing, on 04/04/2008, -3/+1010-12 is not plus size. It's average.
- jamesdew, on 04/04/2008, -1/+9it is for a model. Thats the point here though I think. Yes models are too skinny most of us agree with that. I along with many people would like to see models that are a healthy normal weight and attractive. This would give the impression that you dont need to be stick thin to be beautifull which is of course true.
However this is giving the opposite image that you can be fat and beautiful (which I dont believe you can since I dont find fat women attractive). But more to the point its almost celebrating fatness, telling other fat girls out there that they dont need to lose weight. Well they do!
This issue like most in the world is about moderation.
If your too fat then your unhealthy
If your too thin your unhealty
Why is the weight issue always about extremes, models should be in a healthy weight range to set a good example. - laughandsing, on 04/04/2008, -1/+2I do agree that models should be setting a good example, but they do play to certain groups. We aren't going to find a happy medium. The thing is...is that people should be able to be happy with their bodies big or small. You can't always change the way that you look. Some people are just meant to be heavier set. A certain image of beauty is placed on women that men just don't understand. Men can be heavier and its ok. Women who are heavier on the other hand are chastized about what the eat and what they wear. This woman is beatiful.
- jamesdew, on 04/04/2008, -1/+9it is for a model. Thats the point here though I think. Yes models are too skinny most of us agree with that. - jeuhrn, on 04/04/2008, -3/+5If you would pull your head out of your ass for a second, and actually do the BMI math (which is bogus), her's is 25.3. "Normal weight" stops at 24.9.
If she were 3 pounds lighter, she'd be normal weight with a BMI of 24.8, not even taking into account fat/muscle ratio or any other factor.
- laughandsing, on 04/04/2008, -3/+1010-12 is not plus size. It's average.
- capecodcarl, on 04/04/2008, -7/+16Being overweight doesn't necessarily mean you're in bad health.
- ravensncrows, on 04/04/2008, -7/+2omg ur right
it SO doesnt- jeuhrn, on 04/04/2008, -0/+6Actually, it doesn't, you can be underweight and in an a far more deteriorated health than this girl. Unless you can actually see the insides of peoples bloodveins, that is.
- ravensncrows, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1......................i was being sarcastic..................................
- starkruzr, on 04/04/2008, -4/+5Incorrect. If you were in good health, by definition you would not be OVERweight. This woman's weight causes increased cortisol levels in her body and a constellation of other problems she may not be aware of now, but will cause her trouble later in life.
- Rammsteined, on 04/04/2008, -0/+3Define overweight, now do you see the problem?
- vtron, on 04/04/2008, -1/+1Good point. You can't be obese (like this girl) and be healthy.
- Rammsteined, on 04/04/2008, -0/+3Define overweight, now do you see the problem?
- BruceDude, on 04/04/2008, -1/+2If overweight because of excess fat, then yes it does.
- ravensncrows, on 04/04/2008, -7/+2omg ur right
- HalfGiraffe, on 04/04/2008, -1/+6I disagree completely. She's carrying a modest amount of fat but she simply has an endomorphic body type. This is completely normal and can be very healthy and robust. Although she could more easily slip into obesity than her skinny sisters, she's just fine the way she is.
- ManoWar, on 04/04/2008, -2/+3She is only 17 years old. Her prime years of burning the baby fat. In 10 years i bet she is over 300 pounds
- freddyjackson, on 04/04/2008, -5/+0I don't know what "endomorphic" means, and I don't feel like looking it up. Instead, I propose that it be replaced with "amorphous". It's probably more accurate anyway.
- pinky215, on 07/02/2008, -0/+0Amen to that
- MasterPain, on 04/04/2008, -0/+6How come I never here people talk about the size 0 models health. When all they do is eat cigarettes & laxatives. People just don't like fat models & use the health risks as an excuse.
- pinky215, on 07/02/2008, -0/+0i know rite
- pinky215, on 07/02/2008, -0/+0i know rite
- pinky215, on 07/02/2008, -0/+0her weight is not even a bad weight... how do you know she looks healthy to more.... unless ur like anorexic.then i can see you think she to fat and *****.. all yall need to get of her jock. cause she is doin the best thing for big girls.. fat girls... bbw.... etc... dont get mad that u want to hate on her....
i have alot of respect for her....
P.s i cant beileve how shallow pple are now... its horrible
- BobMysterioso, on 04/04/2008, -3/+26I agree with that entirely. Her body shape does not allow her to become a size 0, it would never happen. That said, a size 10-12 would be doable. - tugger, on 04/04/2008, -31/+81I once went to a fashion show for size 12s and over, the models were stunning. it made a pleasant change to the starving size 0 'walking wire coathangers' normally parading around.
All respect to Chloe, she's doing a great thing.- terryhuang, on 04/04/2008, -3/+17yeah, but were they modelling in bikinis?
12 and over can look good in clothes, but in bikinis really shows over-weight problems
While I (and most people here) agree coat hangers aren't good, we shouldn't be celebrating this other end of the spectrum. - SLiMKRaZy, on 04/04/2008, -6/+16How can she be doing a great thing? What of her health? She is at high risk of Diabetes and high cholesterol for starters and lets not get started on the cost to tax payers that these "Large (obese) real women" cause due to weight related ill health. It should be frowned upon not celebrated.
- BobMysterioso, on 04/04/2008, -0/+5I'm not casting stones here.. but you're not a fatty are you? Its more than just women being fat, lots of guys are fat.
- SLiMKRaZy, on 04/04/2008, -3/+1No I'm not. Are you?
I didn't suggest it is just women being fat but the article is about an, in my opinion, over weight woman in a bikini hence the reference to females.... - Abomonog, on 04/04/2008, -2/+1Please do not remind us...
- SLiMKRaZy, on 04/04/2008, -3/+1No I'm not. Are you?
- Rammsteined, on 04/04/2008, -2/+3You know what else should be frowned upon? Driving, skiing, walking, breathing and just moving in general. Life is risk, if you're going to get worried over every little thing then you might as well be dead.
In case you missed it, everything above will cost tax payers money.- jamesdew, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1driving? thats one of the most taxed activities you can do (expecially in the UK)
- HalfGiraffe, on 04/04/2008, -1/+3You need to get out more and learn the difference between true obesity and a person who simply has a naturally larger body type. Some people store a bit more fat and some a bit less. Both can be very healthy. Extremes on either side are bad.
- BobMysterioso, on 04/04/2008, -0/+5I'm not casting stones here.. but you're not a fatty are you? Its more than just women being fat, lots of guys are fat.
- kevyn, on 04/04/2008, -2/+10nothin wrong with a 12 in bikini
- SmellyGeekBoy, on 04/04/2008, -3/+1Exactly. Since when was size 12 overweight!!?
This girl is certainly not healthy though.
- SmellyGeekBoy, on 04/04/2008, -3/+1Exactly. Since when was size 12 overweight!!?
- jamesdew, on 04/04/2008, -4/+6ahhhhhhhh again with the 0 to size 12 + models.
What about the 1-11 models, ooooh no moderation thats just crazy. Reasonable normal healthy girls? Thats just craaaaaaazy they should be starving or fat/ - Testiculese, on 04/04/2008, -1/+2Size 0's are in teh same boat as this girl. They need to eat and she needs to stop.
- terryhuang, on 04/04/2008, -3/+17yeah, but were they modelling in bikinis?
- aceakm, on 04/04/2008, -6/+52Good for her, but her feet look sick.

- Berkana, on 04/04/2008, -5/+19I'm sure you all remember the Fat Rant:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUTJQIBI1oA
Very good points made.- furto, on 04/04/2008, -9/+2The only valid point she made is that she is fat... she says she eats junk food and then urges people to do the same! horrible.
- Berkana, on 04/04/2008, -2/+6Uh, no. Watch the video again and actually listen, please.
She acknowledges that eating problems and obesity are rampant, but points out that some people, even when healthy, are large and have more fat that what our culture accepts as being acceptable. She also says you shouldn't wait to be thin to start living, and that fatness should not be the one defining thing that dominates your concerns about yourself.
- Berkana, on 04/04/2008, -2/+6Uh, no. Watch the video again and actually listen, please.

- mannymix03, on 04/04/2008, -36/+87I'm tired of the politically correct B.S., shes not curvy or a "plus sized model" shes fat and doesn't take care of herself. Im sorry if it sounds mean, but im just trying to be realistic
- ChuckIT, on 04/04/2008, -5/+9dont' be sorry.
- cotaskmemalloc, on 04/04/2008, -5/+6I agree with ChuckIT - you shouldn't have to be sorry. That girl is far from healthy and is most likely at a high risk for heart disease, which kills a huge number of women each year. She clearly isn't doing anything to fix her weight problem, and covering it up and using politically correct words, in my opinion, does nothing to convey the danger she is truly in. She's not super fat, either, she could easily become healthy if she put some work into it, but she doesn't seem to be interested in doing that.
- modafokaxx, on 04/04/2008, -1/+8Actually, it's not a questio of being politically correct, just of being reasonable.
This girl has extra weight, granted. But she's not obese.
She could do with a few kilos less, but she's not running "massive health risks" or other ***** just for a few kilos.
Concluding from a single picture that she does not care about her health or herself is at best judgemental, at worse being a dick.
Basically, cut her some slack, analyse your diet before anything else (how muth meat do you eat? with all that it involves) and stop thinking that because people don't look like Madonna, they are fat.- zongamin, on 04/04/2008, -1/+1Muth meat is my favourite
- StrangeFamous, on 04/04/2008, -2/+5You're not being realistic. She does take care of herself and she's the DEFINITION of a plus sized model.
- caLt, on 04/04/2008, -10/+26Overweight is the new skinny... and obese is the new overweight..
- BradBrown, on 04/04/2008, -20/+13If you look closely, you'll notice a peanut butter and jelly samich hidden in the bikini bottom.

- BrandonR717, on 04/04/2008, -18/+56Eh, I'd say she's pretty attractive. I'd much rather be with a girl who looks like that than a girl who weighs 90 pounds and looks like a skeleton.
- BobMysterioso, on 04/04/2008, -2/+23There could be some middle ground there. You might be taking things to extreme ends needlessly.
- HangerBaby, on 04/04/2008, -2/+1To avoid approaching the real issue
which is
This fat girl isnt as attractive as that middle ground girl.
(to me, anyways) - groberts1980, on 04/04/2008, -1/+1Right, middle ground there is. I'd rather be with someone who's around 120-130, at her height. She's 200+ easily.
- nextyoyoma, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1well, considering that EVERYONE else in this story has taken it to the extreme of "She's HIDEOUS," I think Brandon's comment is more than justified.
- HangerBaby, on 04/04/2008, -2/+1To avoid approaching the real issue
- munna80, on 04/04/2008, -7/+4Let me guess....you're fat?
- Pthalio, on 04/04/2008, -0/+2Clearly only someone who is fat themselves could have anything positive to say about someone who is overweight
- xmkatx, on 04/04/2008, -2/+6I'm about 90-95 lbs but it isn't bad if you're 5' or so.
I'm not even sure why I'm defending myself over an unimportant comment. - Xondar, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1Both are equally undesirable in my opinion.
Also 90-95 lbs is not bad at all for people of under a certain height. i.e. 5 feet and under. - KingGorilla, on 04/04/2008, -0/+2I'd... prefer the skeleton
- zongamin, on 04/04/2008, -1/+1So what have you got against skeletons?
- BobMysterioso, on 04/04/2008, -2/+23There could be some middle ground there. You might be taking things to extreme ends needlessly.
- MASTERPL, on 04/04/2008, -20/+9The parents should be charged with neglect. If she doesn't get on a diet and start exercising, she has a plethora of health problems to look forward to. Stop encouraging her ffs.

- cotaskmemalloc, on 04/04/2008, -3/+3I just woke up, so when I read this I read it as "The Googles! They do nothing!!". Then I went and brushed my teeth, said "wait, what the *****?" and came back and reread it. And then dugg you up.
- mikepictor, on 04/04/2008, -7/+42Oh for.....is she overweight...depending on your standard, possibly. You have no cause to say she is unhealthy though. People can be heavier, and still be healthy
"I eat well, I exercise regularly – I jog, swim, and work out with weights."
Prove otherwise, or shut the hell up. Someone who is carrying extra weight, but still gets regular exercise, and exhibits signs of health and vitality, is healthy. My guess is, if you talked to her doctor, that her blood pressure, cholesterol, etc... may well be in very healthy ranges.- steelclash84, on 04/04/2008, -9/+5She has a lot of belly fat, which is the most dangerous as that is where the bulk of your primary organs reside. No one is saying she needs to be size 0 like the coat hanger models, but that is clearly not a healthy weight.
- Rammsteined, on 04/04/2008, -2/+4"She has a lot of belly fat"
Does she? Compared to a lot of people I've seen around she's got next to no belly.- numb401, on 04/04/2008, -2/+4Do you work at McDonalds?

- Testiculese, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1She's only 17. Her blood pressure/etc. will still be able to handle it for a few more years. Try again at 25.

Bloody idiots I reckon half the fools here that had said something horrible is classified as overweight or obese.
This is all coming from a guy who is not fat.
Love how people reveal their own insecurities at the expense of others. The article says she eats right and exercises so what more do you want??
- dangsta, on 04/04/2008, -8/+13she's lying. if she ate right and exercised she wouldn't be the size she is now. true story.
- SLiMKRaZy, on 04/04/2008, -9/+4Touchy. Well the article may suggest she eats well and exercises however clearly she doesn't do it properly or else she wouldn't be ***** over weight would she?

- HangerBaby, on 04/04/2008, -4/+1Why slim, you're right on the money!
- BobMysterioso, on 04/04/2008, -0/+3I think the article could easily state such things to quell any discussion - not like we're having here (intelligent discussion) - about her weight. A justification for her size if you will.
- steelclash84, on 04/04/2008, -4/+6Maybe it was only recently that she started exercising and eating right. If you did both of those things, you would *not* be a size 16, genetics or not.
- Hermiod, on 04/04/2008, -0/+6I don't totally disagree with you. There is a tendency, especially on the Internet, for people to pick on some ridiculous flaw with a woman they'd realistically have no chance with.
I know I'm no great catch. I'm not fat but not skinny, I'm not muscular, handsome or anything. I'm geeky and awkward to boot - BUT I am not being held up as an example of a "real" anything. My look is not being celebrated as a victory for anyone.

- dangsta, on 04/04/2008, -11/+6i wouldn't hit that with 10ft. pole. she's definitely overweight, not curvy.
- mdcarso, on 04/04/2008, -1/+1I wouldn't hit that with someone else's dick!

maybe you should stop having them, to maintain digg popularity.- Imachick, on 04/04/2008, -0/+3No, I'm digging him down because if seeing a picture of a fat girl makes you hate your country, then you're stupid.

- alanr19, on 04/04/2008, -13/+8I wouldn't even throw it at her.
- ilmor, on 04/04/2008, -13/+6Unfortunately, she is obese. I recommend diet and excercise immediately.
- anjinash, on 04/04/2008, -1/+2Unfortunately, you're a judgmental and uninformed prick. I recommend stuffing your mouth with cyanide.
- tfox2k1, on 04/04/2008, -7/+2Are those legs extremely hairy or just a shadow?
- mdcarso, on 04/04/2008, -1/+1it is called cellulite - very nasty!

- 3leggedHorse, on 04/04/2008, -16/+10 Buried for being a fat bitch.
- RedReplicant, on 04/04/2008, -1/+3Buried for bitching.
- jdpalite, on 04/04/2008, -10/+2I didnt realize that I typed in digg.dailymail.co.uk instead of digg.com... sheesh.
- brutalsponge, on 04/04/2008, -17/+11That isn't curvy. That's just fat and disgusting. I feel slightly sick now.
- dkreifus, on 04/04/2008, -12/+54I'm not a fan of coat hangers, or of large women, but I'd be curious how many people calling this girl all sorts of names are in 'perfect shape'. Its easy to insult others when you're sitting 3 feet from your keyboard because your gut keeps you from getting closer.
There is a VERY common misconception between being overweight and being healthy. And being skinny doesn't make you healthy either. You can be a size 8-14 and be healthier and live longer than a size 2.
Cut this chick a break. Lets see your asses in a bikini or bathing suit, and lets compare- ee52ck, on 04/04/2008, -3/+3damn right!
- HangerBaby, on 04/04/2008, -4/+1Anyone who maintains healthy eating choices and daily activity will not look like that.
I know, from experience.- finaldarkone, on 04/04/2008, -0/+3I don't think commenting on Digg counts as "daily activity".
- HangerBaby, on 04/04/2008, -4/+1Anyone who maintains healthy eating choices and daily activity will not look like that.
- bclinton, on 04/04/2008, -2/+3Well, I have to say I agree somewhat. The big difference is Im not calling myself a model. The term model tends to lean toward "best of the best: and I think she is a little short of that.
- AL7AIR, on 04/04/2008, -0/+2I'm not in shape if you look at me BMI wise, so yeah I have a couple of pounds extra. She has too, which is a good thing because I for one don't like women where I am able to count the ribs. But I think she can loose a few pounds too, and still be more attractive than a coathanger to me, and probably others.
- Zaggynl, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1Last time I tried wearing a bathing suit, people kept asking me why I was so pale...and I'm serious :(
- LokitheComplex, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1Why are you so pale?
- lostpnoiboi, on 04/05/2008, -0/+0perhaps u need more sun? try stepping outside linux boy.
- Krescentia, on 04/04/2008, -0/+2It's kinda disappointing how no one cares for intelligent comments, like yours dkreifus. People just like being ignorant.
- Vassago5k, on 04/04/2008, -0/+2Agree wholeheartedly, dkreifus. Yeah, she might have some extra pounds, but she's likely more healthy than a lot of these rail thin girls out there. Personally, I find it completely disgusting when I see bones on a woman. If I can see her rib cage, it grosses me out. I'd much rather she be a bit overweight. This girl isn't obese, she's overweight. There's one hell of a difference. I think she looks fine.
- BruceDude, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1Being skinny is not healthy? Better tell that to the natural ectomorphic people.
- jrock08, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1being skinny is healthy if you eat decently. But if you are rail thin because you don't eat there is no way it is healthy.
- pinky215, on 07/02/2008, -0/+0its not healthy if your a rail...
and shes a little overweight not obese
- bbqsalad, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1yey for fatties! unite!
- bclinton, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1She would be ok if the big size was porportional. As I see it she has a pin size head and a huge body. It would be ok if her head was big do.
Anyways, thats the way I see it. - norcalscan, on 04/04/2008, -0/+1I might throw off the white balance of the camera.
- ee52ck, on 04/04/2008, -3/+3damn right!
