- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -1/+16First of all, it's not CONGRESS that would be providing the bailout. It's the American people. With that being said. ***** no!
- MercyPolitics, on 09/28/2008, -1/+16It is election season folks, Americans should keep in mind that Congress is supposed to WORK for them. If they don't, you can give them a pink slip with your ballot in November.
- Phylter, on 09/28/2008, -1/+16HELL NO, throw them in JAIL
- YodaJones, on 09/28/2008, -1/+16No. And don't even mention "Limits on Executives Salaries and Golden Parachutes"!
Hanging is too god for them. - phenry, on 09/28/2008, -1/+13I think not....
- sheeplescareme, on 09/28/2008, -1/+11from a traders perspective-
absolutely not. - Heysal, on 09/28/2008, -2/+10Prosecution not bail outs.
- COlNTELAGENTPro, on 09/28/2008, -2/+10I also find it ironic that this same congress that can't get JACK SQUAT done for TWO FREAKIN YEARS suddenly can work with the efficiency of a SEAL team when it comes to screwing us over?!!!
www.kickthemalloutnow.com - JazLive, on 09/28/2008, -1/+8No, I think Haliburton should bail them out ~ they can do that at least a dozen times over ;)
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -1/+6If your Senator or Congressman votes for the bailout, please vote for a third party candidate in your district if there is one, if not vote for whichever democrat or republican is running against the criminal that voted to rob your money to give it to some sleazy gamblers on Wall Street
- wjappe, on 09/29/2008, -1/+5No!! absolutely no, they should be arrested for having the nerve to steal from the public.
- COlNTELAGENTPro, on 09/28/2008, -2/+5This is a joke
These same banks have bill collectors calling people up and tellling them to make their mortgage payments or else...Not that I have a lot of sympathy for people who got themselves into too much debt, but I think these banks deserve the same level of compassion that their bill collectors are giving the people trying to get by..
You're entitled to three things in this country according to the constitution...Life, Liberty and the persuit of happiness.....
Aside from that...this country doesn't owe you *****! That goes for corporate welfare too! - inactive, on 09/28/2008, -3/+5Hell no!! Their assets need to be seized and placed into the general budget, and then they deserve to be prosecuted and executed!!! If we have to we can skip the prosecution!!!
- GovernmentSp00k, on 09/29/2008, -1/+3Exactly...Everything else "could take years!" "it's very complicated!"
Yet they pass this pre-drafted in advance 700 BILLION dollar "bailout" FRAUD literally overnight, pissing in the face of every single American citizen in the United States. Bush wanted to push this sham through before his term was up. Get it in there right quick! With all the proper threats and appealing to American dummies fears. "Mission accomplished." Same for "offshore drilling" to appease his Owners in the oil industry and petroleum corporation empires. Push that ***** through before he gets out of office. Now the demo-craps are going to let the offshore drilling ban "expire." This won't change *****, gas price won't decrease. At all. We will have even more "dependence on foreign oil", count on it.
Nothing short of full blown revolution is going to fix anything in this country.
These traitor so called "representatives" phone lines were so jammed up with calls from citizens asking them not to pass this 700 billion dollar scam, pleading with them to oppose the bill and seek alternative solutions, that they had to direct many straight to voice mail, which was then filled to capacity shortly after. I was told that they got a "record amount of calls" about this from the switchboard.
Yet they pass it anyway, with no regard for the will of the American people they are elected to represent.
What more proof does one need that these pathetic leeches don't even pretend to represent us anymore. What more proof is needed that America is no longer a true representative democracy, but a fascist theocracy. A dictatorship with a pretend "democracy" and fake freedom.
No wonder they're moving in a permanent Army combat unit on American soil October 1st. This is to defend these scum ball traitorous critters from any potential rioting and uprising as result of their pre-planned "bailout" fraud. They anticipated some potential "problems" for the livelihood of the worthless sold out Con-gress and Senate. They figure the taxpayer serf American dummies would get "restless" after becoming sold down the river once more, this time to the tune of 700 BILLION dollars with more to come, they are taking steps to protect themselves and their fellow partners in crime. We got FLEECED big time on this one folks. What are we gonna do about it, call a Senator? LOL!!!!! Right...look where that's got us. Vote? Sure that will fix it.
This was all a planned, calculated event. Just like 9/11, just like everything else these deceitful wolves in sheep's clothing do. Con-artist Con-gress and their partners in crime should be prosecuted. But who's going to do it? - inactive, on 09/28/2008, -2/+3yup
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -3/+4Assuming we get to vote in November.
- inactive, on 09/29/2008, -0/+1MarkEarhart - you are acting in an unconstitutional manner. Your talk is very irresponsible and someone is going to get hurt as a result of what you are advocating.
- inactive, on 09/29/2008, -1/+2MarkEarhart - You need to calm down. You need to read the constitution then. Stop going on about executing people for being members of AIPAC, and stop going on about executing people without trial.
- gmdmartyr, on 09/29/2008, -1/+1Rot in Hell! NO, NO, Abosolutly NOT!
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -3/+3You're right. Shooting them in the heads would require less effort.
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -4/+4Isn't that against what the constitution says ? Or do you just use the constitution when it suits your agenda ??
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -4/+3Paranoid much ?
- inactive, on 09/28/2008, -4/+3That is unconstitutional
