Secret space surveillance base near Afghanistan uncovered watch!
youtube.com — Eleven silver balls not far from Afghanistan's border. They are the key to Russia's space shield, an optical-electronic unit called "The Window". Each one is a powerful telescope. They see every object up to 40,000 kilometres from the surface of Earth.

- InfamousAtheist, on 03/06/2008, -0/+17Yes
- norman619, on 03/06/2008, -2/+28Obviously yes. UFO = Unidetified Flying Object. So anything you can't identify flying above is a UFO.
- MattB123, on 03/06/2008, -0/+8It always amazes me how so many think UFO = extra terrestrial craft.
I believe in UFOs, but I'm not sold on extra terrestrial crafts.- MWeather, on 03/06/2008, -1/+11Me too. I don't think they're aliens. They're time machines piloted by humans from Atlantis.
- bjornski, on 03/07/2008, -0/+3"You know the way everybody is into weirdness right now? Books in all the supermarkets about the Bermuda Triangle, UFO's, how the Mayans invented television, that kind of thing? Well the way I see it it's exactly the same. There ain't no difference between a flying saucer or a time machine."
"People get so hung up on specifics, they miss out on seeing the whole thing. Take South America for example. Every year in South America thousands of people turn up missing. Nobody knows where they go. They just disappear. But if you think for a minute, realize something: there had to be a time when there was no people right? Well, where did all these people come from? I'll tell you where: the future. Where did all these people disappear to: the past. How did they get there? Flying saucers, which are really, yeah, you got it: time machines."

Great stuff :-) - tyywebb, on 03/07/2008, -1/+1My theory is Jesus was abducted when he was 6, taken to the future, and returned to the past when he was about 30.

- norman619, on 03/07/2008, -1/+2Yes. It's as if they use UFO because it doesn't sound as crazy as saying Alien Spacecraft. I wish people would say what they mean and stop pretending to be objective.
- MWeather, on 03/06/2008, -1/+11Me too. I don't think they're aliens. They're time machines piloted by humans from Atlantis.

- jim1977, on 03/07/2008, -10/+3No, it'll cost twice as much, fit into a manilla envelope, and still be behind its competitors. It won't stop people saying it's the best out there, though.

- mnxxx, on 03/06/2008, -13/+8I'm glad you're very patriotic towards US but you're an idiot. Put your stupid sign back on and never take it off again. You know that US doesn't lead in either education or science in the world. But its OK... That's why you have the sign.
- airburst, on 03/07/2008, -3/+4Why does someones patriotism offend you so much? If someone doesn't conform to your worldview they are stupid? Ok.
- theskyisblue, on 03/07/2008, -4/+5I don't think it's the patriotism that's offensive, which he pointed out is just fine, but rather the ignorance of the world outside their house and what is fed to them on TV by the US government and propaganda.
- mnxxx, on 03/07/2008, -4/+0Thank you for explaining. ( i think he needs a sign too.)
- airburst, on 03/07/2008, -2/+2@mnxxx You are incapable of having a discussion without name-calling. Then you use a Jeff Foxworthy bit about the stupid sign. And you still have the stones to call someone stupid? Wow.

- roflburger, on 03/07/2008, -1/+3lol maybe US doesn't lead in primary education, but that stuff pretty much has not bearing on upper echelon scientific endeavors that require years of professional school. And your an angry little hater now aren't you lol

- heystoopid, on 03/07/2008, -0/+1Google Pine Gap and there it is !
- mrASSMAN, on 03/07/2008, -0/+2A system of telescopes.. pretty sure the US uses surveillance that doesn't rely on telescopes and instead on spy satellites and modern radar systems.
- unreg, on 03/07/2008, -0/+1Actually the United States has quite an extensive network for the purpose of monitoring objects in earth orbit. While tracking the objects is something that can be accomplished with radar, the only way to actually determine what the object is, is to use optical systems.
Satellites are ineffective since they've got fixed orbital patterns. That leaves ground and airborne based systems.
