these stories make me glad for regulations on our buildings.

- iamghost, on 11/13/2008, -1/+10Buildings are not the only thing collapsing in Haiti.
- bucketbeats, on 11/12/2008, -1/+9Its very sad. I pray for the best.
- inactive, on 11/12/2008, -2/+8Is there any death?
I hope no death.

- chrism123, on 11/13/2008, -0/+5United States Government official position: This is sad news. In order to help the victims and their families during this time we will give a lot of money to banks.

- john570, on 11/13/2008, -0/+3Bad building codes or the lack of them
- Monkeyman2210, on 11/13/2008, -0/+3Two schools in Haiti within a week?
I bet the builders are using weak cement (Bigger sand ratio), like what has happened in china thousands of times.
A angry mob lynched a construction official in china after a school collapsed, he had been taking bribes to look the other way. Hope this happens here if its the case. - inactive, on 11/13/2008, -0/+3The conditions they live in are better summed by,
"Squalid Hell-Hole fit for no humans".
A ***** day, another one, in hell. - Bahwoot, on 11/13/2008, -0/+3I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!
- BaoUnit, on 11/13/2008, -0/+2Glad to hear this wasn't as serious as the last collapse. The Haitian government really needs to look into who they're hiring to construct these buildings.
- ramenite, on 11/13/2008, -0/+2Where's the Haitian Willie Stark?
- Nephersir7, on 11/13/2008, -0/+2Like the conditions they live in
- jkendal4, on 11/13/2008, -0/+2no, no, no, it's all wrong! kids pray that their school's blow up, not collapse!
but in a more serious note, I really hope the nine children injured are gonna be alright, or otherwise this post is sending me straight to hell - an10ae, on 11/13/2008, -0/+2I'm just glad to hear that they have schools in Haiti. Now, maybe they can build some new ones that won't collapse.
- inactive, on 11/13/2008, -0/+1woulda buried ya for spamming, but those are nice
- SomeImagination, on 11/13/2008, -3/+4They really brought the house down with their dancing...
...sorry I know I'm evil, go ahead and bury me. - karlisjones, on 11/13/2008, -1/+2Haiti is the poorest Country in the Americas.. wake up
- karlisjones, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1oooooo low blow

- karlisjones, on 11/13/2008, -0/+1thanks I appreciate it, didn't mean to spam, just thought it was relevant.
- Barackalypse, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1Its Haiti, aside from guns most of the last 200 years of human development skipped them over as they drown in a sea of poverty and violence.
- AtomicTheory, on 11/13/2008, -0/+1Gritty?
- GBPACKGB, on 11/14/2008, -0/+1Sorta like your brain.
- jud420, on 11/13/2008, -1/+1Anybody else read that as 'another school collapses in hell'?
- anizzle, on 11/13/2008, -1/+1No, they're literally poor. They lack greebacks.
- nglenn2, on 11/13/2008, -1/+1Another collapse? There is a pretty simple way to solve this, it's called steel+concrete+decent design = welcome to the last 200 years of human development.
- m0llusk, on 11/14/2008, -1/+1The name of the school is "College La Promesse Evangelique", so the promise is that they will die together?
- osvaldo231, on 11/14/2008, -0/+0this bad :( poor kids.
- thegreenspanput, on 11/13/2008, -2/+2darned Big Bad Wolf

- Inoeth, on 11/13/2008, -4/+2What is going on here with Hati's collapsing schools. If kids dancing can bring down a school, than that was a really badly built school. And why the hell are kids dancing in school when those kids have so little time for school in the first place that they should be learning basic language and mathematical skills.
- Konwashere, on 11/13/2008, -3/+1Owned 2X
- modal, on 11/13/2008, -8/+2Where is Obama?
- thelab101, on 11/13/2008, -11/+4haiti...that place is still around?
- WordsnCollision, on 11/12/2008, -10/+2It's all part of a plot by radical home-school advocates. Or maybe not.
- kalv, on 11/12/2008, -12/+1I wonder if the school was made out of dung.
