Seattle has highest inflation rates in country

seattlepi.nwsource.com — Penny by penny, the cost of life in the Seattle metro area -- of visiting the doctor, flipping on a light switch and drinking a bottle of beer -- is mounting. The price of goods in Seattle rose faster than in the rest of the nation last year, and among Pacific cities, Seattle's inflation outpaced both San Francisco and Los Angeles.
