- noImmigration, on 07/13/2008, -0/+14American, British, and even the Europeans need to wake up the very real danger of the immigration invasion. They might not be invading like a conventional army, and only using guns whilst committing crimes, but they are just as dangerous, if not more so, because no one is ringing the alarm bells to repel the boarders.
I live in England, my home where I grew up is overwhelmed by immigrants, I have had to flee, London belongs to foreigners now. Stop mass immigration before its too late for you (if you can). - faultlineusa, on 07/20/2008, -0/+8Yes we all need to wake up quickly!!! - monsterette, on 07/21/2008, -0/+2...sadly enough: some of these individuals often qualify for better jobs, but are forced into lower paying jobs because of work permit requirements, personal choice, or simply language barriers...is it bad? Depends on the individual...it is not fair though to open up the borders to simply receive more votes. The article also states: "...costing the nation approximately $397 billion annually in education, health care, and other services..." Why are these people leaving and is it political or career motivated...and is it then fair for immigrants to their put money back into the country they fled because of their legal status in the new country? This article is a good read!
- BillE3, on 07/22/2008, -0/+3Using mass immigration to solve the worlds problems is idiotic. The average Mexican citizen living in Mexico has a much higher standard of living and a more stable government than approximately 4,000 other citizens from around the world. Does that not mean that Mexico should also adopt a mass immigration policy? Our mass immigration policy had little to do with solving poverty, it was a recruitment tool for voters.
