      Of course, that's probably the point; the whole thing is mostly a power trip joke, and only part sincere protest. And when you get bored of the novelty of it all, scientology will still, unfortunately, exist.

      Maybe it's just me being an old, bitter man in his 20s, but I'd be a lot more attracted to the whole movement if it seemed like anyone at all was even remotely serious about their supposed convictions.

Anon states however that they wish to dismantle the unfair and inhuman Characteristics from the church. They wish to make it so they do not have the tax exempt status they have for they are a business and are showing that. They also show that their church and tactics are violent and criminal in actions.

They've also staked out people in costume shops to photograph people buying masks. Other anons have been outed by having fake journalists come up to the protesters for on-the-spot interviews, where they ask them for their names or for them to take their masks off.

    Folks, take this extremely seriously; this is a vicious group that has honed stalking people and ruining their lives to a fine art. They're not going to let attempts at anonymity stop them; they'll follow stalk you onto the bus and subway with cameramen coordinated by walkie-talkies. Most public transit won't let you wear masks, so they'll wait for as long as they can to get a photo of your face to track you down.

Most of these kids actually learned about Scientology from people like Mark Bunker, but South Park is in fact a viable source of information too - their description of the OT III beliefs is spot on, and their interpretation of what would happen if someone from inside the organization tried to "tell them the truth" is equally accurate - South Park rarely takes the high road in their political commentary, but they certainly didn't embellish in this case.
      3. No one in Anonymous is using violence - if they did, the would immediately become no longer a member of Anonymous. And it's not propaganda if it's true - it's promotion, there's a difference, buy a dictionary.
      4. I am not Anonymous but I know Anonymous and yes, there are hacker 14-16 year olds in the group, but the majority of the members are simply computer literate young adults interested in making a change in the world in the only way they know how. Most of the people protesting are intelligent adults who truly care about what they are doing.

      Now why don't you get off your high horse, go make a sign, and head to you're local Scientology Org where you can do something useful.

Certainly there have been individuals and sects within those organizations who have done some pretty terrible things in the name of religion, but the central organizations of these religions are NOT involved in such tactics - thus differentiating them from the Co$.
