Scientology brings a gun to Anon's peaceful protest watch!
vimeo.com — A private investigator, working with the Curch of Scientology brought a gun to the 3/15 protest in Los Angeles. Overheard saying "I didn't come here for a peaceful protest."

- xenubuster, on 03/16/2008, -0/+23This doesn't surprise me. They've said for weeks they hoped to provoke a violent response from Anonymous.
This man should have been arrested. - dr3kisawesome, on 03/16/2008, -0/+13I already dugg this but who cares. What a retard to bring a gun to a protest.
- FreedomToThink, on 03/16/2008, -0/+3Other story was inaccurate both title and body text hence abandoned I'd guess, Anonymous only needs accuracy and the truth to win, not spin or sensationalism.
- GoldenWeapon, on 03/16/2008, -0/+15What an evil corporation! I hope they get shut down.
- georgeehale, on 03/16/2008, -0/+16The Church says Anonymous are violent hate criminals, and they're the ones bringing weapons to peaceful protests.
Thanks for making Anon's job so much easier, CoS! - Anonakitty, on 03/16/2008, -0/+26Not surprising at all .

It wasn't until he showed up on the Scientologist camp, that it became a big issue.

- abo46n2, on 03/17/2008, -6/+1I know the hatred of Scientology is thick on Digg, and I certainly don't approve of the church's tactics... but claiming that this man represents the entire church of Scientology is naive. Scientology didn't bring a gun to a peaceful protest; one man, allegedly a member of the church of Scientology, brought a gun to a peaceful protest.
*prepares to be buried for not mindlessly hating Scientology*- SocalAnon, on 03/17/2008, -0/+3You're misinterpreting the headline.
"Scientologist" wouldn't have been appropriate, as it's not 100% confirmed that he is a scientologist.
"Scientology" is correct. They either hired him, or he is otherwise associated with the group. As proven by his presence on their closed off block, he is welcome in the CoS's camp. They are responsible for his presence at the protest, as a man with a gun. - slowdowns, on 03/17/2008, -0/+3*I buried your comment for lack of reading comprehension*
He was flashing around a gun at a large group of protesters. At the very least he was trying to intimidate the demonstrators or he could have been trying to cause a panicked stampede that would have hurt a lot of people. He should have his license to carry revoked. He was hired by the "Church" of Scientology which has a documented history of hiring shady PIs that are willing to break the law for some extra cash. Google Eugene Ingram.- SocalAnon, on 03/17/2008, -1/+1Who has a big enough problem with ***** logic that they would bury our responses? We responded in an informed, well-behaved way, and somebody is too butthurt to let that slide, without even giving us their side of the argument.
***** digg, and ***** the internet. I'm going back to reading books and calling telephone partylines.

- HappyWulf, on 03/17/2008, -0/+1Why then, are there Co$ in countries across the world. they are in London, Australia, France... Don't be a moron. Co$ is a global epidemic that needs stamping out.
- cheesebob, on 03/17/2008, -0/+1Scary cult is scary. How stupid of them to do this though. They might've known that we'd put it on the internets. DOWN WITH THE DWARF.
- chipgallo, on 03/18/2008, -0/+2If OSA hired him, they knew he had a carry permit and would likely be armed. It is an intimidation tactic at best, and a tragedy waiting to happen if something spooks him at worst. Again they have proven they are NOT a church in any sense that benefits society.
