- MartinWelbourne, on 10/12/2007, -6/+22The $cientology "bait'n'switch" deception machine attempts to trundle into the limelight yet again. No surprises there. If you want to hear Slyvia Stanard (the scientology PR bitch mentioned in the original article) in action then listen to the JT Foxx show (#51) http://www.jtfoxxshow.com/archive_0307.html
Maybe scientology should look at its own "incident waiting to happen". At their Sea-Org "campus" base in the Californian dessert they love guns and they have a stash of weaponry including illegal automatic firerams.
http://www.factnet.org/Scientology/jesse_tape_4e.html
Any potential victims would have trouble escaping the base due to the inward facing razor wire perimeter fences.- DirkVanAss, on 10/12/2007, -31/+16I understand they might be preying on desperate people right now, but those Hokie's are strong as hell,. Personally I'm Buddhist, and as much as I disagree with that particular religion we still need to respect it because they are doing what they believe is right. Like the article said, "but Critics suspect", its not proven and grief counseling isn't a bad thing.

The Daily News article is just a summary.
Credit where credit is due. - Philodox, on 10/12/2007, -6/+60dirkvanass, I'm normally all for tolerance. But Scientology is a dangerous cult and it needs to be stopped. We shouldn't allow scientologists around the emotionally distraught any more than we should allow pedophiles in daycares.
- tHePeOPle, on 10/12/2007, -5/+39Lord Xenu demands your obedience... and your money.
- Scheissen, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16dirk
I respect all religions and I'm an atheist. But that doesn't mean I have to tolerate them by not give them any flak, it's part of my goddamn freedom of speech. - fantasticFlan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18@dirkvanass "we still need to respect it because they are doing what they believe is right"
I have to dispute that reasoning, doesn't matter what they believe is right, some things are just wrong. - khalifa987, on 10/12/2007, -17/+3Scientology are almost as dirty as Catholics, Christians that take advantage of people in low times. For example: after every US war against any people...Catholic bastards went their with money to buy people off to new religion that defies common sense. Sick people....At least Jews, Muslims and Hindus don't try these practices. Thats why so many people turn to different belief from these societies.
- PradaPete, on 10/12/2007, -3/+32@Dirkvanass, all good and well, just the minor irritating fact that Scientology is NOT A CHURCH really. If Scientology was a church, then Halliburton, Subway Sandwiches, Microsoft, and Apple would be churches too. Oh wait, Apple probably is a church.
- Comatose51, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17@dirkvanass: The Nazis also thought what they were doing was right. Evil has their own system of thought to convince themselves of their moral rectitude.
- zybch, on 10/12/2007, -4/+21Its saddening to see several comments here by people who actually believe that the CoS is a legitimate religion!
ITS NOT!!! Wake up people! Its no more a religion than people standing in a queue in a supermarket are followers of the Check Out Religion!
Its simply a scam to separate people and ignorant fools from their money!!
As L.Ron once said, "If I want to get rich, I'll found a religion!" - eclipse492, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3The victims of this need respect. not other people's beliefs thrown at them screw scientology, screw those assholes protesting the funerals and show the people some god damn respect when they need and deserve it.
We should all do our part to stop this crap. Personally i've had enough of people throwing their beliefs at every event that can give them publicity. digg as a whole can make an impact
http://digg.com/political_opinion/Calling_on_all_diggers_Time_to_take_on_the_wetboro_baptist_church - SIRBERUS, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17I've said it before and I'll say it again. Stop diluting the term "religion".
Scientology is a business. They are set up like a business. Their writings are protected under trade-secrets like a business.
They are no more of a religion to people seeking mental health as McDonalds is a religion to fat people seeking physical unhealth.
Cult is the term best suited as well. - returnofmalv, on 10/12/2007, -9/+4That's how pretty much all churches operate. Recruit when your morals are low and you are at your most vulnerable.
- Estaris, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7@Philodox
"We shouldn't allow scientologists around the emotionally distraught any more than we should allow pedophiles in daycares."
Very well said.
These people interview you in Orientation, telling you the faults in your character/personality.
Then they tell you what classes you need to take to be a better person and if you don't want to be a better person the live with your miserable life.
Sounds silly? It's the absolute truth.
On a whim, I went to an Orientation once and I laughed through out their dramatic and fallacious Orientation movie.
Brush up on your fallacies, if you check an Orientation out, and then try and count how many they use in your experience there, the list will be long. lol
Also they told me what was "wrong" with my personality and that I need to fix it by going through their training. All this training costs money and the books that go with it cost money. SHOCK! lol
The higher up in classes you go, on this inverted pyramid of classes to make you a better person by their standards, the more money it costs...
They want to make you think a certain way, perceive things a certain way, basically full control of your decisions, feeding you doubt and misgivings.. promising happiness and being well centered through a mystic rhetoric that they now change to suit their needs.
Many lives have been ruined, financially and professionally, by them.
Read up on it. Be annoyed. Be indignant. Be Careful. Believe in yourself and don't be swayed when people try to make you feel bad to lull you into joining. Be Strong. Pass the word around so that the unsuspecting and "emotionally distraught" don't get lulled into their programs. Peace - radical2, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2I for one welcome our new Scientologist overlords.
- BGFeltenink, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Ok, I don't agree with what their doing. It's wrong. That said, how can you people be all against this and yet there's never an outcry when Christians do this, and they do it all the time. Any tragedy will result in a nearby church getting involved and inevitably offering "solace in the arms of God" so how is this different?
I wish people would just leave all beliefs out of it and show up as normal everyday people who just want to help. Leave God at home. - sonofdy1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3ALL HAIL XENU AND HIS MESSENGER TOM CRUSE!!!
Oh great auditor, where do i send my money to purge my soul of evil alien spirits??? - MrTulip, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1@dirkvanass:
imho even if scientology was a religion they'd have to adheir to the rules of the particular society that 'harbours' them. here in germany we recently had this case of a judge who wouldn't allow a 'speed-divorce' because of some koran-sura a little domestic violence "had to be considered normal for that particular culture group" (both spouses were muslim) -> disgusting imho .
----
a question to the general (and as i suspect mostly us-american) public: what would have been your reaction, if not scientology but some other "religious" group had taken advantage of the despair of these people?
thx in advance

E M E R G E N C Y B U L L E T I N :
THE WAY TO HAPPINESS CAMPAIGN, VIRGINIA TECH
Please help us get The Way to Happiness books to the students, faculty, and members of the community of Blacksburg, VA following the tragic school shooting yesterday at Virginia Tech.
The message of The Way to Happiness book is not only pertinent, but needed at this time of crisis and healing.
Below is an excerpt from The Way to Happiness:
Precept 8: DO NOT MURDER
... “Murder” is another thing entirely. By definition it means, “The unlawful killing of one (or more) human being(s) by another, especially with malice aforethought.” One can easily see that in this age of violent weaponry, murder would be all too easy. One could not exist in a society where oneself or one’s family or friends were at the mercy of some who went about casually taking lives.
Murder justly bears the highest priority in social prevention and retaliation.
The stupid, the evil and the insane seek to solve their real or imagined problems with murder. And they have been known to do it for no reason at all.
Get behind any demonstrably effective program that handles this threat to mankind and push. Your own survival could depend on it.
The way to happiness does not include murdering or your friends, your family, or yourself being murdered.
The message in The Way to Happiness book is needed right now!
Please donate to our campaign for Blacksburg, VA. We plan to distribute 25,000 books in this community. The first books are on their way now!!
$50 = 50 books
$100 = 100 books
$300 = 300 books
$500 = 500 books
$1000 = 1000 books
Call 818-254-0600 or 800-255-7906 or fax your tax deductible donation to 818-254-0555.

Apparently it's L. Ron Hubbard's version of the 10 Commandments, but with 21. - spidoman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5lol Chapter 8 - Don't murder.
Reminds me of this: http://digg.com/videos/comedy/Don_t_Buy_Stuff_You_Can_t_Afford_3 - jasonlion54, on 10/12/2007, -11/+10Not to be a dick, but how is this different than any other religion trying to help people cope with a tragedy? They think that their way is the best. So do Christians. Scientologists can bring this stuff, and Christians will bring their own scripture to the discussion. This exerpt has nothing objectionable in it (IMO).
Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of scientology, but why can't they be allowed the same access to grieving students as any other religion? - TheTaoOfBill, on 10/12/2007, -7/+15Because Scientology isn't actually there to help. They are there to take money from vulnerable people.
- bliz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Why can't they just put $1 per book?
Or if they're only selling only in bundles of fifty, why not $50 for 50 books?
Geez..... - 10001110101, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Where are the price breaks? Are Scientologists too dumb to make the mathematical connection? "Umm.. If we tell them that the books are a dollar each, half of our members won't be able to figure out how much 1000 will cost.. Better lay it out for them."
- tehtopher, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9There's a little more on wikipedia (but not much):
- HerrEisenheim, on 10/12/2007, -22/+10Really, it's no worse than the way the media preys on this kind of stuff. Scientology is probably more helpful to people than the coverage provided by News Corp., General Electric and Vivendi, Time Waner, and The Walt Disney Company—combined.
- venom8599, on 10/12/2007, -7/+18Umm...no. Scientology is a cult. Media coverage won't screw your life and mind up. (Not directly and/or by itself anyway.)
- Estaris, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Your reasoning is non existent and you should go take a logic course at a university.

- sonofdy1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yeas lord xenu
- sidsarkar, on 10/12/2007, -11/+6Worse than this, the dangerous fundamentalist christian evangelics have been targeting innocent kids in my country for decades now, but they havent succeeded much yet. They never will.
- jjesusfreak01, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Ooh, so dangerous, they take your money, don't let you get psychiatric treatment, and kill you when you are out of money (or move against the church), right?
- BarleyWind, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8Well I'm sure that most people here agree with you on the of lunacy and damage that Christianity can cause to people's lives, however Scientology is by far the most harmful religion to an individual's life mental, physically, and financially.
- dvsbastard, on 10/12/2007, -5/+12I had no respect for Scientology as a faith / belief / life / religious / sectarian system before this, so I guess not much has changed...
- macmcrae, on 10/12/2007, -11/+2Would they be kind of like the "media vultures circling VT"?
You know like from my post a few days ago.
I think circling works better because vultures don't really prey - they scavenge.
Prepares to be dug down to the water table. - wachter1, on 10/12/2007, -11/+4Vulnerable students need to be protected from conversion tactics? That strikes me as being a little paternalistic. I would hope that college students, even grief stricken college students, would be treated as adults who can make their own choices.
Major events like this will surely cause at least a few people to step back, re-evaluate life, re-evaluate priorities, and perhaps even be converted to a new way of thinking and living. In some cases the changes may be for the better, in some cases maybe not. In some cases the changes maybe lasting, in some cases maybe not. But that's what college is all about: Critcally thinking, re-evaluating, and finding a path to follow or deciding to make your own path.
I think the worst thing that could come of this is that everyone forget about it and go back to business as usual.
- Arbus, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9The weakened members of the herd must be protected from wolves such as these.
- jjesusfreak01, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5You dont know how these people are feeling or thinking. They may feel they need something to cope with the grief. Scientologists want to be that something. Not everyone knows what an evil dangerous cult they are.
- Estaris, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5@wachter1
You want to teach them how to think, how to perceive things, and how to act.
You want to charge them money for classes to make them "better people."
When I read your comment I had the imagery of the proverbial Wolf in sheep's clothing.. "Baaahhh" "I"m just a little sheep, I'm harmless" "BaaahhH" "Come close to me, I am not a danger to anyone" "It's just conversation" "It's not like we would take advantage of your vulnerability at this time" *BAAaaahhh* *gRrroWL* *BITE* *GULP*
- mcrbids, on 10/12/2007, -5/+31Scientology teaches its members that disagreeing with Scientology is no different than hating you. It's called the ARC triangle, and the idea is that Affinity, Reality and Communication (thus ARC) are all equivalent. .Thus, if you disagree (break in reality) then you have a break in Affinity. Thus disagree = hate.
Yes, I just lost a lifelong friend because I dared disagree with Scientology. Forgive me for being bitter. But Scientology is a great way to lose friends and people. '
Don't go near Scientology. It's very, very, very bad mojo.- polyh3dron, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2Oh really? I thought they told the Scienos that if one disagrees with Scientology that it means they rape babies.
- Rapsting, on 10/12/2007, -13/+5Digg this comment down
- PradaPete, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19Sometimes even the Germans get something right - in Germany, Scientology's status as a church (=no taxes!) was revoked and they are now operating as a business. And that's what they really are, just in some countries they pretend to be a church to make money from the weak and naive.
Of course, Scientology didn't like that treatment and they tried to start a campaign to label the german government as "new nazis", but nobody really cared for their "pain" LOL.
Nowadays, Scientology still exists in Germany, but being a business, they have a hard time acquiring a lot of members.
Appropriate treatment for the US branch as well, maybe. - J6stik, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10I'm no fan of scientology, but that title and description alone have more spin than 6 hours of Fox News.

Good stuff though. I can't imagine that Scientology thought they'd get anywhere near the backlash they've gotten or else they'd have been more careful. Xenu is throwing somebody in the Volcano for sure. - lilmoonee, on 10/12/2007, -7/+5Like any other organized religion would do any different...

- jasonlion54, on 10/12/2007, -5/+5@thetaoofbill: Yes they do. Have you seen some of the more ornate religious temples, shrines and churches? Gold doesn't grow on trees.
- khet, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4@thetaoofbill: According to the bible, tithing(giving 10% of one's income to a church) is required if you want God to protect your assets. Baptist pastors rant about this frequently in my experience.
One example of this is in Malachi 3:9-11. Sounds like brainwashing people for money to me.
Scientologists should stay the hell away from VT though as they are predatory organization.
- dvsbastard, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3@thetaoofbill
They are brainwashed to go off into weird and irrelevant tangents?!?!?!?!- chaosium, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2They are absolutely trained to not respond to questions and attack instead.
- chaseeng, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Be consistent. Almost all religions do this exact same thing where religious groups send representatives (in this case ministers) to help "grief counseling," not just Scientology. Hell, even my religion does that at my school because we've had so many suicides, and I'm baptized Catholic.
- scottelkin, on 10/12/2007, -9/+6At least they are doing something about it while most people are sitting at home watching the news unfold on their comfortable sofa.
It is so easy to trash Scientology, or any other religion.
I went to Indonesia on my own dime as a Scientologist for the sole purpose to help. They really don't need any of the spotlight...at all. They're like that Hilton girl, just a attention whore.- Estaris, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2The thing is they do not want attention. This is how fracking religions start, people are too stupid to see through the BS. Give it 500-1000 years and if this crap is still about it will be a powerful religion up there with all the old school fairy tales that are running the show now. - DogtownRules, on 10/12/2007, -5/+10Scott - I am absolutely positive that you distributed Way to Happiness pamphlets as a way of promoting the cult during the Indonesia tragedy aftermath. I am also certain that you were part of a group that paused for all photo opps, much like your cult did when you weren't hindering rescue efforts at Ground Zero. I know you believe that you are "clearing the planet" and all that, but your superiors are using you for "stats" and revenue, and will cast you aside when you are no longer productive for the cult. That is the time when most Scientologists wake up and blow. Unfortunately, by then they have given the best years of their lives and all their finances to the cult. Don't let that happen to you. Leave quietly and chase some skirts while you still can.
- Thex1138, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Scientology recalcitrant scumbags!
- life036, on 03/11/2008, -6/+4I'm not defending L-Ron's cult in any way, but the topic could just as easily read "Christianity Vultures Prey on Virginia Tech". Why isn't anyone outraged at all the Christians descending on the school? I'll tell you why, because the Christians believe they are helping people, just as the Scientologists truly believe they are helping people.
In my not-so-humble opinion, you're a kook if you believe in Jesus or Xenu.- BarleyWind, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6The majority of the populace can see the blatantly fraudulent nature of Scientology and rightly deride it for this, however, people still have difficultly seeing the laughability of most main stream religions, and Christianity isn't as overtly predatory and life destroying as Scientology.
- Estaris, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Last I went to church (I was a kid,) I don't recall the priest coming down and saying.. "HEY sign up for these classes that you need to take to be a better person.. we will charge money, that will increase in proportion to the more difficult classes in the future, if someone tells you that God is not there, you should scream at them WHAT ARE YOUR CRIMES?', picket their home and tell them they kill babies (all documented and videos in youtube..) - Estaris, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4You are an idiot. Have you watched ONE youtube video? Have you read ANY articles on them? People don't freak out, so much as they are AMAZED that so many misguided and emotionally brainwashed human beings are being ignored by society and politicians. That they have not been forced to be disbanded or at least have a force to help get people out of their cult.
That is what you see... if you can see at all. - PradaPete, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2nobody is freaking out, we're just posting in the mild amusement remembering the 80s prank that Scientology was.
I need to see that Tom Cruise South Park eppersode again...
Now, go back to the vulcano Xenu is coming in his DC10, kid! - sonofdy1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Actually I hope they stick around for the pure entertainment value. The CoS protest videos are funny as hell. But seriously, stay away from them. They will ruin your lives.
Now would some scientology nutcase ask me what my crimes are??

- jgzman, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4While I agree in principle that any religion might do this, and that any/all religions are harmful to people, anyone attempting to equate Scientology with ANYTHING ELSE is making a poor observation. Scientology may be the most evil group of people to walk the earth at this time. The only reason they are not the most evil people of all time is because they do not have to power to carry out their stated goals.
In fact, Scientology is the only group in the world for whom I will break Voltaire's Free Speech Principle. (Although Fred Phelps is rapidly on his way to being the second) My Significant Other once had to physically prevent me from starting a 'holy war' when the Sociologists set up a booth on my flightline. Non-Religious People: Often feel compelled to try to help; they feel sympathy for those in need.
Christians: Have extensive resources and ability to help with disaster recovery, thousands volunteer to help.
Other Religions: Often other religions with work similarly to the Christians.
Scientologists: No recovery work, just hand out pamphlets and try to covert the vulnerable to their blood-sucking cult. - BobOki, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Don't forget guys, these are the SAME scientology guys that believe we were all created by aliens from space! Stay away from my kids Tom..... you scare me. - joshunboomed, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1I dont want to be digg spam (escpecially since I'm fairly new), but in my blog I talk about what we should really blame for the virgenia tech shootings.

- Hetman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8You obviously know nothing about Buddhism because Buddhism is not a religion in the way the other above three are. It is more of a way to guide your life than anything. Its the same with Confucianism they don't emphasize how the world was created and will be destroyed. They just talk about set guidelines on how one should live his life.
- tracyfm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10"The way to happiness does not include murdering your friends, your family, or yourself being murdered."
Wow - I'm so glad that the Church of Scientology could enlighten me. I'm afraid I might have been on the wrong path to happiness - as I was considering getting myself murdered. But NOW - I've seen the happiness light path & I'll avoid that all together. Whew.
THANKS!!- kcmedic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Thanks for pointing that out. I was about to go get murdered myself. THANK YOU SCIENTOLOGY for showing me the way.

- davesbrain, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2When I open this I get nothing about the article at the top of the page. Is this happening to anybody else?
- spd998, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Xenu would not be pleased.
- zeus79, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Have you seen the article that lists their myspace pages.
It is creepy to read everything that people are leaving on there.
http://digg.com/world_news/Updated_list_of_Virginia_Tech_victims_myspace_pages - korn91313, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3those alien worshiping creeps, what are they planning to do next? Give all the VTech students vitamins?
- CPoe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6"What they need are qualified mental health professionals."
No its not! Grieving is a natural part of a persons life! They need the mothers embrace, or their fathers shoulder, or their friends understanding! Not some quak who thinks he knows whats going on becuase "he has studied it." - bilal1, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3I don't see what all the hullabuloo is about concerning the Scientology interest in the Virginia Tech tragedy because white supremacy is alive and well all over the world and propagated through the media (ALL) to the gullible and non-suspecting audience of misinformed people. White superiority and black inferiority is the rule of the day. Christianity is a stronghold bastion of white supremacy, and very false. In the name of Christianity do your thing. Peace!
- GiggleStick, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4They did the same thing during Hurricane Katrina. Part of their MO.
- Brendan2026, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5In the Market East train station in Philadelphia, the Scientologists set up a table a few nights of the week around 5pm. I guess they are there for the afternoon rush. They have books on the table, but the first thing you see when you approach the table is "FREE STRESS TEST." They have this ridiculous-looking machine with diodes and meters with two metal grips connected to it by wires.
Having walked by this so many times, I have gotten to see people in various stages of this transaction. The Scientologist excitedly telling people how stressed they are according to this machine, and then the peddling of L. Ron's stupid books. Often I see some hapless person ensared in this trap (stupid for getting into it in the first place... "ooh, let's see how stressed I am using modern technology! This machine surely knows the answer!")
Thankfully, the person being peddled to is usually looking at the book with disinterest as the Scientologist tries to explain how great and useful it is.
Shame on SEPTA for letting that cult in there. They must pay to be able to set up the tables.- iamasmallgoat, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I walk by this all the time too. It's funny when the homeless Christian guy (the one with the sign on his chest) is campaigning on the same day, it's like a little mini-war of religions.
- FutueTeIpsum, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3"...I respect all religions"
Scientology IS NOT a religion..
It is a cult that gives hand-outs and other perks to the wealthy, and treats the underlings like *****...- EthylAdded, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Scientology is a religion because it emphasizes faith over reason. You are taught that you can't trust your own mind because it is damaged by "engrams". Any reasonable concerns, common-sense objections, etc., you might have about Scientology are then easily dismissed as the side-affects of a damaged thetan.
- scottelkin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Wow are you ignorant.
- chaosium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Wow are you ignorant."
He's not ignorant, you're someone who isn't very well educated on the actions of the COS. Outside of your niche, their activities are very different than you can conceptualize.

- shitforbrains, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Jeezabus. What the hell is the difference if the Xenuites or the Xians offer grief counseling. It's all woo-woo requests to imaginary beings be they thetans or the Holy GHOST. Religion is a lot like the Special Olympics. It's funny to watch and very, very important to the participants.
- kahakauai, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I don't get it... I really don't get it... I really really don't get it...
Hopefully another hail bop will come along and poof, no more Scientology... - DreKor, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3This is a strange play for the Trade Federation, err..., Church of Scientology. Why would they want to convert college students? It's not like those kids have any money and they don't have extra time to study for their advanced Thetan degree.
- leftnut, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Is it impossible to believe they may be sincere?
- EthylAdded, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Yes, they're sincere. Sincerely interested in brainwashing some new recruits. Sincerely hoping that they can get some students to drop out of school and join the Sea Org.
- scottelkin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I did not hand out any Way to Happiness books. But the truth is they weren't translated into the local language there at the time. If it were I am sure I/we would have.
It's a real shame you guys can't see the "good" side. What does it matter "why" someone does something...doesn't it matter that they do it?
So if you help an old lady across the street, does it REALLY matter if you are doing it because you want to feel good about yourself, you are trying to show off for some girl, or you're doing it because it is right? Sure, inside it may, but I say, if you do it, that's great.
You can generalize this situation and say how the big evil Scientology Church is doing this and that. The TRUTH is that volunteers are donating their time and money to do what they and I think will actually help them. They get nothing in return...just the satisfaction of helping their fellow man.
So rather than criticize the people that are trying to help, why don't you follow what I did and take two weeks off work and your family and go help them? I am sure you can find an organization that would cater to your liking?- chaosium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You're not doing any "good", just handing out lies about how a rainbow of colors and glass shards are flying out of their bodies through a pseudoscientific "detox" process.
It's entirely ***** and you've made some pretty poor decisions in your life to end up to this point where you're spending so much time lying to others and yourself.
