From HCO Policy Letter of 21 October 1968:
''The practice of declaring people FAIR GAME will cease. FAIR GAME may not appear on any Ethics Order. It causes bad public relations.''
''This P/L does not cancel any policy on the treatment or handling of an SP.''
(SP = Suppressive Person, an Enemy of Scientology)
In other words, ''HCO Policy Letter of 18 October 1967, Issue IV'' (the ''sued, lied to, tricked, destroyed'' policy which was quoted by Anton above) is still in effect. There are also numerous recent examples of Fair Game being carried out.
So, not only is CofS, Inc. not believable by their reputation and actions, the ''Cancellation'' policy is a deliberate MISQUOTE of the actual policy. The reason for the ''Cancellation'' is not because it was the Right Thing to do, but because Fair Game causes negative publicity!

why was the letter hand - delivered, why was it not sent in post,registered mail or courier was it for intimidation purposes if you find this intimidating
is it standard practise of their company to use hand - delivery or their first correspondence to a potential defendent/adversary
what is the industry standard for first correspondence
whas it simply a courier
what are the stalking laws?
are they aware that scientology has had history of prior bomb threat allegations against their most prominent critics,
first one paulette cooper, find the relevent legal documents online, operation freakout ( i think)
