Scientology - Above the law in Paris? watch!
video.google.com — In the middle of the video, you see the Clearwater, Florida headquarters. Co$ is a threat well-being. This is an international cult. Not just a silly little group of people conning poor suckers out of their money and good sense. World-wide.... Be aware and beware.

Its a meme- Berkana, on 02/05/2008, -0/+3Forget about the stupid meme, the organization is what people are worried about. There are "free zone" scientologists who practice "auditing" and all that stuff, but without the exorbitant fees the CoS charges, and without carrying out vicious attacks against Scientology critics. I have no problem with them, nor should anyone; people are free to believe what they want to. Where the CoS crosses the line is when they go ape on people who try to leave, and break the law and infiltrate government to twist it to do its bidding.
- prisoner24601, on 02/09/2008, -0/+16Still waiting for even ONE single Scientologist to stand up here on Digg and answer ANY questions about their religion. I'm a Christian on Digg and get into discussions and/or debates with Atheists, Mormons, Muslims, Agnostics, you name it. I've met MANY people in each of those camps that I respect (even though I disagree with) because they have the guts to stand up for what they believe.
Scientology, you hide your "scriptures" behind copyright law. Not a single one of you has the courage to defend your beliefs. Dozens of articles have appeared on Digg in the recent weeks and there has not been even ONE of you with the conviction to answer even ONE question. A faith that dares to copyright their "scriptures" is unworthy of tax-exempt status. You can believe whatever nonsense that you choose, it's a free country and you have every right to be completely WRONG if you want to be. But for ANY religion to be tax-exempt, we citizens call on the IRS to insist on both "transparency of doctrine" (religions must place their scriptures in the public domain) and "education without regard to ability to pay" (religions must demonstrate they teach their doctrine to all "parishioners" who wish learn, not dole it out in increasingly expensive bits.)
Scientology you are pathetic. I've never seen you answer any critic in any way other than with a lawsuit. Every religion (or non-religious philosophy) worthy of respect has countless apologists willing to stand openly in the bright sunshine of the marketplace of ideas and shout their claims from the top of the proverbial soapbox. I've lost track of the dozens, even hundreds of Atheists, Muslims, Mormons, Buddhists, etc. here on Digg who have stood up to answer for their faith.
You've never provided even ONE!- Berkana, on 02/09/2008, -0/+8The reason you don't see them here on Digg is because once they're in deep enough to know anything sensitive, the Church of Scientology requires that they use a CoS approved web filter that keeps them from reading anything critical of Scientology. See these:

The organization is totalitarian to the core; it will not accept criticism, nor will it let its members be exposed to criticism nor scrutiny of the church of Scientology. That's why you don't see them on digg; digg is probably blocked by their mandatory web filter. - FreddyO, on 05/12/2008, -0/+4That is true with one exception - Scientologists working for the Office of Special Affairs are permitted to go on internet sites such as Digg to conduct propaganda and misinformation operations.
