Oh wait, that's us. Yeah, we spend money so much wisely. It's such a waste to develop your country's infrastructure when you can blow up the ones in other countries!
- netuserx, on 05/28/2008, -0/+2I agree with you but they always do things like this dude .. So that's no very strange .
- Ridgeliner7, on 05/28/2008, -2/+3The interesting upshot of this whole deal, it comes because of an expose on Fox News! :P
- Ninjaclan1, on 05/28/2008, -0/+17Thats what, 10 gallons of gas?
- benbread, on 05/28/2008, -2/+2You don't realise how easy you've got it...
- MarkusX, on 05/28/2008, -1/+2That's great.
- fr0ng, on 05/28/2008, -1/+3Isn't it required by their religion to donate money every year?
- wastedfish, on 05/28/2008, -1/+0So basically Africa has been financed for 10 or so days?
At least they are contributing though, no one can blame them for rising their gas prices that's just how supply and demand works. - MasterThief117, on 05/28/2008, -1/+2It's good that they are trying to help, and I thank them (even though I am not the one to thank them), but giving only food is not the way to do it. It just creates a small population boom, however not enough infrastructure and when the given food runs out, well, those people are screwed.
I think instead of feeding them, the money should go towards infrastructure to the poor nations. - elvis699, on 05/28/2008, -1/+2Good to hear! I lived in Saudi for 4 years and still think they are some of the nicest people! obviously i didn't meet the wrong people but i know their are a lot of good people there :)
- lilbugleboy09, on 05/28/2008, -2/+2Nice to see our gas dollars going towards a good cause.
- mooseontheloose, on 05/29/2008, -1/+1I love how people complain about how OPEC countries "waste" "our" oil dollars by building infrastructure but don't mention ***** about the trillions of dollars their own ***** government wastes on pointless *****.
- Awspire, on 05/29/2008, -1/+2Big ***** deal. They'll get that cash back ten fold with the high cost to transport food.
How about donating oil so transport costs can be offset. But then, they wont get back anything in return. - nomzz, on 05/29/2008, -0/+2I think if they did good it has to be stated as good thumbs up for first step in good efforts , as they always do same for other countries
