- Voxster, on 10/25/2007, -1/+4I'm really confused as well. Could someone get Harry Reid on the phone? What a buffoon!
- MarkCiccone, on 10/25/2007, -2/+2Did you read your own quote? “One reason..." is not the same as saying "THE ONLY REASON..." He is giving a couple of explanations as to why we are having more forest fires. It has been the driest weather in TWO HUNDRED YEARS there... so yeah I think global warming can definitely be said to be one reason for the fires.
- KBWUSA, on 10/25/2007, -1/+1I suppose in your partisan mind arson has nothing to with the situation. Perhaps it is because of the failed global warming policies of the Bush Administration and their lack of commitment to enforcement of the Kyoto accord.
- DanThePainter, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2And the Clinton Administration, which also (thankfully) did not act on the Kyoto travesty.
- vault, on 10/25/2007, -1/+2No, he's pushing for it to be global warming to suit his own agenda. You just choose to believe he's being balanced and listing it as "oh just one of many reasons" when we all already know there can be multiple explanations for fires

- drenader, on 10/25/2007, -0/+1"In San Bernardino County ...another man was shot to death by police after he fled officers who approached to see if he might be trying to set a fire."
?? Does that sound a little funny to anyone else? They shoot you down if you flee? This will make COP's a lot more interesting to watch on tv I guess. - cboeman, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2this is the kind of crowd-control ***** testing ground that is being used as a test to commence the sliding slope to a police state
- no3gods, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2It very well could be terrorism. Michael Savage has already done the homework for you: http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2003-07-11 ... www.michaelsavage.com. That aritlce listed forest fires as a possible act of terroism. But then again, it could be Global Goring that caused it. In that case, it is still arson.
