San Francisco Sued by Survivor of Illegal Immigrant Massacre
sfgate.com — San Francisco's immigrant sanctuary policies played a "substantial" role in the slayings of a father and two of his sons by allowing city officials to shield the alleged killer from deportation, despite his violent history, according to a legal claim filed Friday on behalf of the victims' family.

- drz130, on 08/24/2008, -0/+9Interestingly enough, comments on SF Gate have been overwhelmingly anti-sanctuary, yet nary a peep from the progressive ideologues at the board of Stupes. Unfortunately, they are secure in their posts. In SF, the silent majority are also progressive ideologues. Hopefully I'll be proven wrong in November, but that's a long shot, even as encouraging as comments on the website are.
- Christianptriot, on 08/24/2008, -1/+8This is a deplorable situation, and the federal government should IMMEDIATELY cut off ALL federal aid to ALL San Francisco programs, schools and projects until the city does the LEGAL and Constitutional thing and follows the legal federal laws of this country.
If ANY other city had done this - and not one that is the mecca and center of the gay universe - they would have been handed federal sanctions long ago. Too many spineless and weak-minded politicians and liberals who want to slowly bleed America to death. - DesertDad, on 08/24/2008, -0/+5It may be that SF is becoming the poster city for the horrible wrongs of the illegal alien sanctuary policies. The bleeding hearts who think lawlessness is acceptable as long as they are happy with the lawbreakers are finding just how deadly the logical result of their policies are becoming. As the posters at SFgate write, Mayor Newsom and his senior administrators should be held to account by the Bologna family.
The rest of us should push for rescinding federal money in every political jurisdiction which grants sanctuary for illegal aliens. The employers of illegal aliens should be hit very hard, with restitution for victims of violent crime, and civil fines to cover the social services costs which over the years they have passed on to the rest of us.
