He was a 16 year old kid in a war. At the time Israel was occupying parts of South Lebanon and hundreds of Lebanese children were being killed and maimed, so resistance was legitimate.

It was a huge failure. Its hard to differentiate between the Lebanese government and Hezzbolah. Pretty much all of Beirut was leveled to the ground. I think you just made my point, they wouldn't endorse Jesus because He doesn't believe in the same things they do. If they were supporting my candidate I would at least like some answers as to why. Also, as far as I know, Obama hasn't said anything against the endorsement. (I could be wrong, and if I am, I'll be happy to withdraw my statement)
