- Gemfinder, on 03/15/2008, -0/+1Yesterday's price on Columbia River spring chinook was $36/pound in my town. Silver was about $11. Basically, I'm thinking about getting $100 worth of silver fillet meat, and vacuum-sealing/freezing it. If I limit my intake to 3.5 ounces a week, it should last me through the year. And yes, I'm going to fall back on trout and steelhead. Forget this "catch-and-release" bullshoi, any fish that's dumb anough to bite my hook is dinner.
