As an example, I had no rights to get my domestic partner into the U.S., because although you can naturalize your foreign wife if you're a male citizen, or your foreign husband is you are a female citizen, you have no such rights with a same sex partner.
If you have a same sex relationship, you have no rights at the federal level in these matters, no matter how many individual states say otherwise. I'm not allowed back in the U.S. with my partner until this bill finally passes:

I don't really see the "news" here. Homosexuality decriminalized, unsanctioned protests broken up with arrests, ignorant people who openly denounce homosexuality (some in a position of political influence), and homosexual citizens with fears of coming out due to the repercussions from their respective families.
